We need to pull the trigger on this trade and get a real rough rider to anchor this defense, Idc what the cost is

You don't care what the cost is?
Adams himself is demanding $15M+ per year.
The Jets are demanding #1 and #3 draft picks.
Put another way- the cost would be a CeeDee Lamb (#1), a Neville Gallimore (#3), plus the quality FA talent $15M could bring in (or retain).
Think about what that $15M can buy:
Gerald McCoy cost $6.1M. You can get two of him, and still have enough left over for a Clinton-Dix, Dalton, or Zuerlein
That is a high cost.
There is absolutely NO way Adams is worth more than all of that.
When did they play in the NBA and was 35 plus years old?Who were those Tony Gonzalez, Antonio Gates and Jimmy Graham dudes again?
Is the money coming out of your pocket? You naming a bunch of “guys”. None of them are top 2 at their position in the league. You don't care what the cost is?

It’s not Chris Simms. It’s Gary Myers. He has connections with both organizations
Robinson also reports that despite that stance, the Jets have not granted Adams' agent permission to facilitate a move. The Jets continue to claim they have "no plans" to deal their disgruntled young defensive back, but Adams is still steamed about last fall's trade attempts. This well may be too poisoned. An easy solution would be to give Adams his desired extension, but Robinson reports Gang Green is adamant that he wait until next offseason. Adams wants to do anything but. Robinson reports the Cowboys have yet to circle back since last year's failed talks. This drama isn't over.
Honestly, this is a welcome distraction from the other thing.

Trade Gallup and a 2nd Round pick. Sign Dez. Make Lamb wear #10.Well, you should care. Overpaying to acquire a safety, then giving him a big contract, isn't the golden key to a Super Bowl.
If the Jets are willing to trade him for a 2nd round pick I'll consider it. But I've read stupid stuff like a 1st round pick and Gallup, which would be a sucker trade for Dallas.
The fact that you think a 24 year old two time all-pro is only worth a second round pick speaks volumes.Well, you should care. Overpaying to acquire a safety, then giving him a big contract, isn't the golden key to a Super Bowl.

I think with another 1,000 yard season, it could be possible to get a first rounder for Gallup if they shopped himWell, you should care. Overpaying to acquire a safety, then giving him a big contract, isn't the golden key to a Super Bowl.
