Right? Football players have a short career and can be on the end of a career ending injury at anytime.

Can’t blame any player for trying to get as much money as they can, especially with the contracts that are being handed out. Players careers are short and once their skills erode or their performance drops off teams move on from them. It’s a cutthroat business and you have to look out for yourself and your family.

The Wentz and Goff contract is a good range based on the market. Maybe give him an extra 500k a year for inflation. Lol this contract negotiation is making us crazy.

6-7 year contract; rofl no wonder there's been no movement.

Anyway the only thing that's been consistent with all these contract claims is that Dak wants a shorter contract and Cowboys want a longer one. But you know go off on the "Dak is greedy" noise.

Pro athletes have big egos. They're all rich. But they want to make a dollar more than their peers and will dig in to get there.
Agreed.

Even worst when you know Dak makes WAYYYYYYYYY more in endorsement money than those two

Fans who ***** about how much players make aren't really fans.....the are "Owner Minions"

In fact my last starter up "Dak Haters" is flourishing...."Owner Minions" looks like another successful venture

Owner Minions doing the billionaires dirty work. Complain about salary players so they pay $12 for a Miller lite and $1k ticket family packs smh:facepalm:

Dak Haters = Hate

Owner Minions = Jealous or Concession stands owners:lmao2:

The Rams made the sb off of one the most egregious no calls in NFL history, and with McVay calling plays after defenses were set. How’d Goff look last year? Rookie year?

and don’t get me started on Wentz. Did you seriously say “he played well the year his team won the Super Bowl (without him)” but say Dak hasn’t played well since his rookie season? Lmao your ISP needs to limit your access
:lmao:

They will limit it any day.

Everybody is home and online.

Been kicked off about 6 times today.

This is getting bad.

Tomorrow will be a cluster _uck.

Yes about Goff and the Rams.

They were the only decent team we beat last year.

And they were cratering.

So I just think we should trade Dak for Goff and keep Dalton as our backup friendenemy to see if he could beat everybody out.

I would take Goff and rework his deal and move on.

But Wentz would make more money if the big companies ran more TV commercials in Philly for Ben Gay, Walking Boots, Smelling Salts, and Arm Slings.

It isn't Dak's fault that they don't.

This is the same crappy 5-year offer that Dak absolutely should not sign when you look at other past 4-year deals getting more $ guaranteed. And the price has gone up since then.

Wilson: 4 years, $140M ($107M guaranteed)
Goff: 4 years, $134M ($110M guaranteed)
Wentz: 4 years, $128M ($108M guaranteed)
Dak: 5 years, $175M ($105M guaranteed) - rumored and $175M based on $35M yearly average

Yeah but he easily could’ve held out like Zeke did to get another deal. He did not. He’s done everything this organization has asked of him and now you have people fixing their mouths to call him greedy?

I thought Dak *should* have held out for playing at 2mil with an imminent 100mil gtd coming, but apparently he insured himself for 50mil again injury to play.

Anyone who wants to call him greedy should go into work and ask for a pay cut.

And which one from CBS Sports HQ or voice of the star has sat in on any of the negotiations. Once again no direct quote on any of this. You would think sooner rather than later these sports idiots would realize that we know they're making this stuff up to get clicks.
