Take the Wilson case. He drove his team down to get in position for the win. Could've fumbled or turned over on any of those plays. So only the one play matters?
Do all of his amazing plays earlier just get erased?
But at least that was Wilson actually playing his position.

As for the Romo example. Same thing but even much less--as a quarterback, he drove the team down for the winning points and was done. Did his job.
As a special teams player, he muffed the snap. There's zero scenarios when that one player lost the entire game. Impossible.
Oh my.

I tried to use examples where similar plays illustrated my point.

But if I understand you, you are saying everybody shared in Romo's fumble..correct ?

That no one player is at fault? Everybody is to blame?

If so then I could say the sky is blue and you would say no..

it's really an illusion and it's made up of the entire color spectrum.

I am choosing to only see the blue.

Is that it?

That sounds like a line out of the Matrix movie where the little monk boy explains to Neo that he is not bending the spoon. Neo is just choosing to believe the little boy is bending the spoon. The spoon is really straight.

Answer me if I understand before I say anything else.

:omg:

Carolina

He's been here only 4 years, and he's beaten 22 teams already. :clap:And every team in the NFC except Carolina. Unfortunately, unless he wins the Super Bowl this year, he'll have to wait to knock out even just 1 of the first 8 this year and none of those are on the schedule, but it's quite impressive what he's done in just 4 years beaten 2/3 of the teams in the NFL already.

Teams Dak hasnt beaten in the playoffs in 4 years,

all of them but Seatle..

Eventually the excuses for over paying Dak will run out, at least I hope so. Whats next, Dak deserves 55 mil a year because he uses a certain shampoo?
yup Mahomes 2 years asna starter
League MVP, 2 AFCCGs, SB win and yes he has right ot ask to be paid as the best player in the league..

Dak 4 years 8-8,in year 4 shows a decline from 13-2 2 of 3 years no playoffs = decline

1playoff win

yawn

Dak struggles against good defenses , and many teams have figured out he is a shotgun QB with accuracy issues in tight windows . He will have flashes and stats , but cannot carry the team against quality teams . Jerry has to be pondering what If Dak does not improve or regressed ? Is Jerry stuck with Dak until Jerry is into his 80s ?

Wow, Dak has beaten all these teams so therefore we can credit him for the following...

2017 9-7
2018 10-6
2019 8-8

Alright Dak what a winner baby!!!

P.S. No excuses for the above as you can't have your Dak-cream and Dak-Cake together!!!
To omit his 2016 13-3 season shows your skirt.

Can you give the same list for Mahomes please ?

Woof.

The Dog raises his curly head.

It always tickles me how Dak Lovers think they can copy and paste his pluses and croon.

But they truely have a hard time reading b/w the lines of what is the reality of the situation with our 'leader' #4.

Yikes.

As far as teams Dak has not beaten add..

The 1971 Baltimore Colts

The entire 2010-2019 decade of Tom Brady lead teams that won 6 SBs.

Can you imagine our little punk QB wants more than Brady?

And there are fans out there who say pay the man.

Double yikes.

After four seasons these are the QBs Dak has beaten. Aaron Rodgers, Ben Roethlisberger, Drew Brees, Carson Wentz, Jared Goff and Russell Wilson.

@cern in every thread about Dak you post "8-8", right?

In Aikman's 12 seasons he won less than 8 games 7 times. Dak hasn't won less than 8 games once in four seasons.

Do you really think that TROY AIKMAN was one of the worst QBs of all time? Because that's just silly.

What’s silly is comparing Dak to Troy in ANY way, shape or form.

So it's okay to give Dak all the credit for 'beating teams' if you support giving him a big new deal but if you point out that he was 1-6 against playoff teams last season then you are a hater because it's a team game and you can't blame Dak for losses due to the defense, coaching staff, WR drops, o-line issues, Zeke, etc.? Yeah, that is some interesting logic going on.

PS

If 'Dak' had beaten either NE, the Jets, or Buffalo last year Dallas would have made the playoffs but alas 'Dak' didn't beat those teams and Dallas missed the playoffs.

Oh, and if you want to examine stats closer then take into account that Dak has a 40-24 career record as the starting QB of the Cowboys but if you take out his rookie season of 13-3, Dak's record the last 3 seasons is 27-21......and of that record Dak has a record against the Commanders & Giants in the last 3 seasons of 11-1...against 2 teams that clearly have been crap the last 3 seasons.

Therefore, outside of the Commanders & Giants the last 3 seasons, Dak has a record of 16-20.....yeah, give Dak a huge contract based on that record. LOL

If he beat those teams I’d gladly say he’s worth what he wants. Sadly, if he also won those games, Garrett would still be here. We took care of one scapegoat now, no more excuses. I hope he plays under the tag that way we can end this debate once and for all without committing to a long term deal.

singled out Dak stat #83

again, a counting stat

and like most of the others its mostly attributable to the fact that the dude never misses a down

what an awful analogy
Aikman began his career with a 3-13 team and Aikamn had his share of injuries and you are including his entire career including his decline at the end
