He's never going to see 50% of the snaps as a RB. If they use him as a WR then maybe.

If they do use a lot of 11 personnel will it be under center? Play action to Zeke from that set would be very nice. From shotgun, not so much.
Didn't say he would, I said he should.

I don't know how much they plan to use Pollard, but he should definitely be a somewhat significant part of this offense IMO. The guy is an absolute playmaker who can come in and give defenses fits. It seemed like he was making a highlight play every other time he touched the ball last season. If used properly, I think Pollard and Zeke could be one of the best duos in the NFL - if not the best. Throw in ridiculous WR weapons and a good receiving TE, and this offense should be great. If the defense can be above average to good, and the ST not suck, this team will be a contender. With better coaching, they should've been last year as well.

This is the problem with predicting any one player to have a monster year. For the good of the team all these playmakers will have opportunities. However, there probably aren't enough touches to go around for multiple players to put up monster numbers but IF it all falls together the Offense should be extremely dynamic and I could easily see it ripping off chunks of yards. So, drives may be short in duration but if they produce points the team will be hard to handle.

Zeke has not progressed in the passing game since coming to Dallas. He was a better receiver at OSU. Hopefully MM can help.
had ZERO to do with Zeke brah..

jeez he had like what 77 catches in 2018 along with the rushing crown? its the play caller and the offense yes im talking KM he didnt use pollard or Zeke last year as weapons in the pass game..Zeke when used is a threat in all 3 phases that has not changed,..whats changed is hes not at OSU hes been forced to have a struggle between garett and Linehan and then garett and Moore to what actual offense we run and its all on the coaching staff and the 2 headed play callers who like Marinelli and Richard never found any balance..

its a sad state of affairs when fans somehow cant see what the true issues are but what did pollard do last year? nothing hes a bust them..oh wait maybe he wasn't utilized, same goes for zeke..

Will he be our jack of all trades and be lined up at wr? I feel he will be. In the NFL..the element of surprise in a new scheme and with a new mindset is key. How will teams defend us when we have you spread out? lol?Its pick your poison. Each skill guy we have can take it to the house..but Pollard is like Marshall Faulk..you better know where that guy is at all times. HELPS OUT EVERYONE on offense. CEE DEE will be great, but Pollard will be the X FACTOR THAT MAKES IT ALL WORK. Zeke may find himself phased out unless he finds a niche in short yardage and goal line. THOUGHTS?

Great post. He totally is like a way better version of Marshall Faulk who makes everything work and will relegate Ezekiel Elliott to a back up, short yardage role player.

Only if you want an optimal offense, if you don't want that then sure, he shouldn't.

I believe in getting him involved in the offense but not at the expense of only playing Zeke 50% of the time. They need to be on the field together a lot more than last year.

Paying Zeke and the Hill pick are neck and neck for the most stupid decision we've made in many years.
Lol. If you look at the numbers all he got was 4 year extension. By holding out 2 years early its spread over a extra 2 years. Only actually a 4 year deal, says 6 but its kind of a illusion so he looks like the highest paid blah blah blah. 7.5 signing bonus. A out in 2023 with 6.7 in dead money. If we use him like we have been he will do just fine. And if he shows up to camp in shape he will be ready out of the gate. Except now he has the corona. Lol.

I always like having another weapon for defense to contend with. To me this is not a Zeke vs Pollard issue, last I saw both are players are on this team and whose goals are to win a championship.

He does 95% of what Austin does and runs better than Austin in tight spaces.

teams will be focused on ZEKE AND THE WIDEOUTS. We can expect Zeke and Pollard in the same backfield too...Think about it, how do ya defend that? Look at KC..its a copy cat league. Dak will need to be on point quickly.
This would be cool , teams rarely use this , but I think if done properly could work well.

Have Zeke on the field for pass protection, and maybe some in between the tackles stuff in short yardage. Don't see any reason for him to be on the field over Pollard other than those situations.
