Dak most under appreciated QB in the NFL

Im tired of straight forward Dak threads. Can we get some Andy Dalton should be starting instead threads up in here? I need a little bit of variety in the approach when in comes to arguing the same topic every day on here.

Trey Wingo says Dak is above average.

And the fans that didnt want Romo benched and were looking for any opportunity to bench Dak.

Another is that they were dead wrong in their initial evaluation of him, and instead of admitting they were wrong about Dak they just double, triple, and quadruple down.

For example little @WillieBeamen here said that Cooper Rush should start over Dak after Rush's preseason. Yes Cooper Rush, instead of just admitting he's not a good evaluator of talent he spends every waking moment on here talking about Dak negatively to try and justify it to himself. He's not alone though. There are many others obsessed with Dak.

The problem with Trey’s take is that almost everybody does DOES think Dak is an above average QB.
Above average (not top 3) being the key point

So what he’s saying just isn't true, nor is the headline of this thread if above average is the bar

So many, like you, are completely missing the point.

He's stating that Dak is the most underappreciated in the league.

He's not stating that Dak is merely above average.

He's stating that if you can't understand that Dak is at minimum above average then you should give up on trying to evaluate football because you arent any good at it.

I didn't miss the point at all.

You just stated exactly what I thought he was saying.

I get that a handful of very loud voices in this forum dont think Dak is at least above average.
We are talking 5%ers...15% max.

The VAST majority of fans know Dak is above average, and I bet even most of us think he’s well above average.

Most put him in that 9-15 range, I would think.

The outliers are those that say he's barely NFL starting material or the ones that say he’s top 5...or worse yet, better than Mahomes

Not the general consensus out there.

To be fair, I don't know, or care, or assume about the outside world's voices on the team we root for.

The opinions expressed here do seem to be a microcosm of the outside world. There are extreme opinions on both ends, but the more reasonable opinions seem to sit at around #8 or #10 in the league.

Maybe this place is the home to more hardcore fans that pay way too much attention to the ins and outs of this team while the people that don't are more...

Dak is way above above average. After this year, barring injury, he will be considered elite.
