NFCE ranked as the worst division

If you need a quick refresher on how bad the division was last year, just consider this: Every team had a losing non-divisional record, no team hit double-digit wins and three of the four coaches in the division got fired. Also, Washington, a team that went 3-13, somehow tied for the second-best record in non-divisional games, going 3-7 (The Cowboys also went 3-7 while the Eagles led the division with a 4-6 record).

I'm reminded of when the Eagles went 13-3 in the 2004 season while the Cowboys, Skins and Giants all went 6-10. Hope we get to top the division the same way Philly did.

as well as the ewok racking up yards against garbage teams and getting less than 50 yards in each game against the only 3 playoff teams we played.

We get 4 “free” wins again this year against the Skins and Gnats and I hope people don’t say “divisional games are always tough”. We’ve been dominating both teams for years now.

At least we get to go up against the NFC West & the AFC North next year. Should be a chance to see if we should be taken as a real football team again.

It was the worst division and the Cowboys had the most talented roster. While that is utterly pathetic, at least we got a new coach out of it.

Agreed, I never got excited after our first 3 wins last year and caught quite a bunch of flak for saying it. We literally played 3 of the worst 5 teams in the league and IIRC their defenses were just as bad. Miami had the worst defense in the league, Giants 3rd worst and Warshington 6th worse. I hardly doubt the Giants defense will be much better this year and their offense will be mediocre at best.

I actually got a diatribe written against my fandom for not being elated after our first 3 wins. I think I was still questioning our defense, but it might of been something else.

While I agree he could have played better in games against playoff teams, we played six (not three) and Zeke had more than 50 yards against four of them. New Orleans (35), Green Bay (62), New England (86), Buffalo (71), Minnesota (47), and Philadelphia (111, 47). Against the Patriots, Bills, and Packers he was averaging around 5 ypc, we just stopped giving him the ball.

As for the NFCE overall, honestly it's been a few years since it was not one of the worst divisions in the NFL.
