If the Cowboys Oline comes together and is top 5 then this should be the best offense in the NFL. With a real coaching staff and HC running the offense there should be no excuses.

Why would you put Vikings weapons in front of ours?

Basically it comes down to Rudolph being in my eyes light years better than anything the Cowboys have at TE.

I would take Elliot over Cook (though it is close).
I would take Thielen over Cooper (again close)
both teams have a set of first round WRs

If the Cowboys get a TE on that level (Rudolph is not even all pro but he is a massive upgrade over anything the Cowboys have) then they can be on that level. Instead they have Gallop who is the most unreliable WR in all of football which is one of the worst things you can say about a WR.

Only when it comes to dropped passes.

Obviously they need to improve that.

Answer: Predictable play calling. I sat on my couch, mostly drunk, with Cheetos on my breath, and even I knew what was coming.

How can A mare even catch a ball? Sure, she can run real fast but doesn't have any opposable thumbs.

It's not anything unusual for a QB to work with all his receivers before training camp, especially with CeeDee being newly introduced. I'd be totally surprised if that weren't the case. Certainly, they need to be well in sync by the time the regular season gets underway. If not, it could get ugly.

I have been posting on this site, or all iterations of this site since around 2000. I guess I have seen a post like yours every year by dozens of people each season.

And yet, drunk and eating Cheetos, the NFL didn't call you to be an offensive coordinator. Or a defensive coordinator, for that matter.

I'm not going to say you are full of bull because you think you call the plays before the snap. Gee, it's like flipping a coin. It's kind of fifty/fifty it will be a run or pass

But I will tell you you're full of Cheetos.

That's been one of my gripes during the Dak era play calling. I can't call the play, but it's not that hard to determine pass or run.

WR do not correlate to championships. None of the great ones in the league have rings. Dallas built this current team going into this year around throwing the ball.

Seems like an excellent strategy.
Yeah the Chiefs won the Super Bowl with a good running game and defense. Oh wait........

it’s not as simple as saying WRs don’t winthere is no set formula that works for every team. NE didn’t have multiple great WRs, but they had a great WR and a great receiving TE. Same for KC last year. Sanders and Thomas were top WRs for Denver a few years back. Other SB teams have won largely due to a strong defense. Others with just a solid all around team. Different things can work

I knew it. Media makes it out like no one is talking. MM hasn’t called Dak. Dak hasn’t called Lamb. He has already been throwing and getting on target. Gonna be a strange year but we are going to look good.

Obviously they need to improve that.

What led to it? Poorly placed balls that technically catchable but the receiver has to make some crazy adjustment to do so. Dak has a tendency to throw low and behind. That's just a fact. He needs to improve.

The WR group might be terrific (assuming Lamb pans out), but overall I would probably put the overall weaponry as the 4th or 5th best in the NFL. KC has the best weapons in the league, followed by either the Vikings or the Bucs. After that it is either the Cowboys or the Saints depending on how strongly you feel about MT.
The Vikings now that Diggs is gone?

Sources say the trio was seen working on catching passes that were thrown behind them:laugh: very excited to see these guys on the field along with Elliott, Pollard and Jarwin. Even with Fred beard retiring the o-line is still in good shape. I truly believe we will prove to be a tough stop for any defense:flagwave:

:lmao:
You guys are so funny.

Madden also has the Browns in the superbowl almost every year and has Jalen Hurts taking 3 different teams to a superbowl and winning multiple championships with a HOF career.......... Haha at people trying to go off of Madden like its real life

That’s not how dropped passes work:

“This standard says drops are ‘incomplete passes where the receiver SHOULD have caught the pass with ORDINARY effort.’

Basically, we're talking about blatant drops, not the ones where your old man leans over and says anything that grazed the receiver anywhere was a drop in his day.

Only use this if the receiver is 100 percent at fault and no one else can be blamed for the incompletion, ESPN tells its game charters. "Pass interference that wasn't called/passes thrown just outside the receiver's reach, etc., are NOT drops."

That's a subjective call defining if someone should have caught a pass with ordinary effort. If a receiver is running a slant and Dak throws the ball behind him, the receiver turns, reaches behind him, the pass hits him in both hands and he drops it, does that constitute a drop? It didn't just graze him, he got his hands on it, but it was just poorly placed. It's the same thing with sacks. The previous season Dak was sacked a lot and there was a lot of debate about how many sacks were on Dak and how many were on the blockers.

Dak could surpass 5,000 yards passing this season if his receivers improve their number of drops.

I want to make sure we have a balanced.mixed attack with plenty of running. Including some by Dak.

I want to see defenses feint from being confused.
