In other words, let's sign Earl Thomas!
Thomas rhymes with calmness.
Sounds like it rhymes with cancer more than calmness.
But I will not complain if he is signed.

Lots of players in all sports could use that advice. Not sure what Tanks means but he's probably better off letting his game do his talking.
Did he really only play 60% of defensive snaps? I never heard that. Can you list your source? Also never saw him constantly come out on third. The team exhcnaged linemen in waves. It was rarely one guy taking himself out. He's also remained one of the top defensive linemen in the game since signing that deal. He's not a sack artist and never will be, but he's a dominating presence on the line regardless.
He’s made me regret publicly supporting him ever since he got his contract.Imagine a guy that only played 60% of the snaps last year and constantly came out of the game on 3rd downs after getting a $100m deal is really talking about being a leader lol. What a joke

I don't wanna make too much of this but the implication ( alphas in the room that was to lead ) makes me pause a bit. Something I would hope tank and all the players understand, you don't manufacture leadership. Not sure what Tanks means but he's probably better off letting his game do his talking. We've talked about all the new talent and potential on the DL and that's great. But there are a lot of personalities in that room that's used to being on top. One thing for sure, they can all the talent in the world but they can't play as a unit/team it won't matter. Lucky for us, MM is exactly the kind of coach we need to keep them in check IMO.
"Just especially dealing with all the aggression & different types of alphas in the room that want to lead, it's really all about...maintaining the calmness in the room."

Thankfully most of the squares are gone.Preach. Greg Hardy got outnumbered too
According to one of his former players, ( think it was AJ Hawk ) he's the ultimate alpha himself.why is MM the perfect coach for us with this group of guys?
It's not really news.I don't think any D-linemen has played more than 75% game time with Marinelli as defensive co-ordinator and mostly Lawrence has played in the 60-70% range. Last year it was 62.5%
https://www.footballoutsiders.com/stats/nfl/snap-countsAgain, do you have a link for that? I'd love to see it. I agree, 75% seems closer to normal.
Crawford didn't play last year and Dallas ranked T-2 in third down stop % so this seems pretty baseless. They were 16th in 3-and-out per drive, but the difference between them and #1 was less than .1.Go back through tape it was terrible when you would see ty craw and armstrong rushing the passer on 3rd downs
