The days of injuries on the Oline and everything falling apart are over. We had two Undrafted FA’s start on Sunday and they held their own. Dude deserves major props, and especially the players.

Major props for two games. We will be a force when Collins and Tyron get healthy folks.

Who would’ve thought that shortening the passing game would help against the pass rush?

I wonder if Garrett has learned that yet or if he’s still processing.
Garrett is too narcissistic and arrogant to change. Shouldn't be too hard to plan for his offense when we meet. And yes, Philbin did a great job getting the o-line going sunday. Particularly the run blocking.

The NY job is perfect for garrett in every way. The Barkley injury sucks but I can't wait until we play them, I hope we destroy them and get garrett ousted.

I came into that game thinking “Our passing game will get shut down hard”, due to the 10 year mental shell-shock of Garrett but.....then found myself, after first half, not even giving an ounce of consideration to the green tackles we had holding the edges because the offense was still humming. Some kudos to Kellen, too.

That was always what I attributed his poor coaching to. He's not stupid, just too arrogant to change, too set on his way being the right way and such.

it helped that both Dante Fowler and Takk McKinnely missed a ton of time as the DEs, and it's still a mystery as why Philbin doesn't care for McGovern
but for not being afraid to place Steele ahead of Cam Erving,
And kudos for starting Brandon Knight at LT. (which why wasn't Knight startign over Steele at RT vs Rams ?)

But we still have two struggling OGs - one who had long been one of premiere OGs but has been on the ground way too many times.
How much of this is adjusting to a new blocking scheme or a lack of off-season and preseason ? We'll have to see.

But cannot argue against ANY coaches when you're able to put up 40 points, and 570 yards ..
