Completely wrong.I say Leary on a bad knee would play better than Connor Williams. I find myself focusing on Connor each replay to see who fouled up the play. Guys, Connor Williams gets thrown around and most importantly, he looks lost out there. Lifting weights and getting bigger in the off season wont cut it if you dont have the heart and cerebral fortitude to play the game.
I watched all snaps played by Connor Williams in the Falcons game at least 2 times each.
There were only 3 questionable snaps for him in the game.
One that I've detailed in another thread showing why it appeared that he failed but that he actually didn't.
One on a play where I think he blocked the correct pass rusher leaving the other one to Zeke but I can't be 100% certain.
Connor Williams is playing really well.
- He is terrific at pickup up and passing off pass rushers on stunts/blitzes.
- He is terrific on 2nd level blocking.
- He has excellent awareness to get over and help the OT when possible.
