I used to be such a fan of this guy. Now every penalty and every celebration he has makes me cringe.

Hes like the receiver who celebrates a catch on 3rd and 12 but comes up 2 yards short of the first.
Couldn't have said this better.

Now you're talkin'.

I had high hopes for the dude.

Remember the Myles Jack/Jaylon debates???? Me too.....good times.

Jack>Jaylon....then and now.
I was always in that boat. He fooled me in 2018 though. I still dont think hes as bad as people say but Jack shouldve been the pick no brainer

Once he got paid, the hustle left. However, it seems as though he is better when another linebacker is qbing the defense so he can only concentrate on just pursuit and blitzing.

Is that the defense where you only get burnt by three yards instead of five?

That facemask penalty from him when the Browns were in a 1st and 20 changed the whole momentum of the game.

Just because I thought we could all use a good laugh on a night like this.
I must defend Jaylon Smith after all he showcased his talents last year didn’t he?
1) he showcases his ability to stop opposing players by tackling them from behind once they are well past the line of scrimmage
2) he showcases his ability by usually being caught out of position on the field
3) he showcases his flair for being a fashion icon on social media
4)

I think the talent is still there. The effort isn't. In 2018, he used to sprint like a heat missile to tackle on almost every snap. Now, he makes business decisions more often than plays.
