Poe is the worst player in the NFL

I was fine starting Woods, which would have been a better option in hindsight.

The guy I didn't want out of the fourteen free agents who didn't work out was HaHa Clinton-Dix, who crapped out faster than any of the others. I still think there is some backstory there that we don't know yet.

I actually wanted snacks over him, I felt his run stopping ability was needed most.

The guy doesn't care. I mean beginning to wonder if maybe his 'disagreements' with Jerry Jones are a bigger factor than is being led on, and carrying over to the field.

He is the perfect example of a guy that just needs to shut up and play. Jerry did his part paying this lazy tub of lard.

When we moved up in the draft and picked Mostly Injured Claiborn . We should have picked Poe instead not now at the end of his career . This guys fire is out . He is frustrating to watch

I'm very mehhh on Snacks. I think Snacks now is what Poe will be a year from now. Snacks is a case where the Spagnola Rule is actually true IMO.

God I miss Demarcus ware his paw rush was so consistent he never overran the quarterback or chased sacks. He just completely shrunk the pocket on every play and jsut took like a full second off the drop back time.

Guy was probably worth 10 points a game defensively

I don't see it that way, Snacks was considered the best at what he does, Poe was a never considered the best, so to me even if snacks isn't who he was a couple years ago, it's better at what he does than POE is right now.

I keyed in on him and wow, the criticism is warranted, when he engages the lineman it's as if he has made up his mind that he can't shed the block so he just stands there playing patty cake, on one play he got thrown to the ground just by one lineman using only one arm...he has to go!

People on here hated him at times.

Not I. He was a joy to watch and i'm so happy he got a championship somewhere because he deserved it.

He did get similar treatment to how people treat Tyron now.

They see 1 holding penalty and start flipping tables. HE'S LOST IT HE CAN'T DO IT ANYMORE

HE CAN'T STAY HEALTHY ANYMORE HE'S DONE!!! COSTING TOO MUCH MONEY --> goes to Denver and wins a ring

I honestly don't understand why Dontari Poe hasn't been given his pink slip yet, and why the Cowboys are not going after and signing Snacks Harrison off of the Seahawks practice squad?

He’s got to go.

I don’t know what they’re trying to do up front but he is terrible.

Every time I see a Poe thread my reaction is "Did he play?"

He's invisible, but with Hill's injury I'm guessing they'll keep him around.

I just watched most of the giants run plays on the all 22 and I saw Poe get moved (bad play) maybe once or twice but what I did see is Gallimore (#96) get pushed around big time when Poe was out.

These were the run plays:

1st play of the game 9 yd run Poe didn't get moved.
2nd run play for 2 Poe is not in the game but dts get moved
3rd run play Woods and Gallimore in run for 9 yards
4th run td Engram end around Poe didn't get moved but play went to the outside
5th run Woods in get pushed back due to double team play goes away from him 2 yard gain
6th run 3rd and 1 Gallimore gets pushed back for a 3 yard gain double teamed.
7th run Woods in at 1 tech held up good didn't get moved. 8 yard gain
8th run Woods and Gallimore held up good against one on one blocking
9th run Poe gets moved pretty badly by a double team Gallman 4 yard run.
10th run Poe held his ground 1 on 1 for zero gain
11th run Poe gets moved easily 1 on 1 for a 1 yard gain but it looked pretty bad
12th run 3 yard gain Woods held up well
13th run Poe held up well against 1 on 1 for a 2 yard gain
14th run Poe didn't get moved 1 on 1 Jaylen makes tackle
15th run Poe doesn't get moved 1 yard gain
16th run Poe 1 on 1 doesn't get moved 2 yard gain
17th run Wood fights through double team and doesn't give ground on 4 yard run
18th run Woods held up ok 1 on 1
19th run Woods held up well didnt get moved 1 on 1
20th run Poe gets moved 1 on 1 wasn't a good play for him imo.

The 20th play occurred at the start of the 3rd quarter (I stopped looking after that) but i really didn't see much that was egregious from Poe. What I did see was that Woods was as effective as Poe but imo you need at least 2 of those kind of guys because you would just wear 1 guy out. Remember that the 1 techs position is to keep the lbers free, to not give up ground and to make a tackle if possible. I don't think that anything they do will jump off of the screen even if they're doing a good job.

Exactly, thank you for doing the research and bringing that up. A lot of ignorant people on this board. The scheme is to two Gap which is different from what they were running previously and getting upfield. With Poe holding his ground against doubles that means Smith and Thomas should be having a field day. And on top of that it should make it easier to read because you know where the play is not going and that's right at Poe.

Great post. I think Gallimore has great skills and a bright future but totally agree. He did nothing in this game and his only tackle was a play where he got blown off the line and then chased a RB downfield.
