The question is. How much more than a first rounder do they want.

I would definitely give a first. But how much do they want beyond a first.

honestly the cowboys first pick in the draft next year needs to be defense anyway and interior DL is a huge priority. (Well unless it’s QB but we won’t argue that in this thread)

So this would provide both a immediate benefit but also fit the teams long term needs.

Big flags there. He was just drafted last year really high.

God bless Gase. Culture change talent drain.

11mil dead cap hit for the Jets next year...

Yeah..

But somebody mention we have so many needs going forward..

better to keep the pick and see who fails to us.

We had a 17th pick last year at 8-8. Got CeeDee.

If we go top 5-10 in the draft..I want our draft pick 1st and 2nd rd.

Sorry.

Quinnen Williams was the 2019 Draft's 3rd overall pick picked by the Jets. This is his 2nd season in the league. Why would the Jets be willing to trade their super costly young DT talent?
Seems like they’re having a firesale. With bell gone Adam’s gone. Rumors of darnold trade now Williams. Regime wants to start over fresh after firing gase

that being said kids 22 and only in his third year. Could benefit from being next to Lawrence smith and Gregory. I’d think about the trade but not a first. We could suck really bad a Dalton and end up with a top 10 pick.

Agreed. I would offer a 3rd rounder at the most if the Jets are having a fire sale.

Pass......if he's on the blocks, he isn't working on his game.

Sam Monson, PFF’s Lead NFL Analyst, said that there has been good and bad in the grading of Williams this (his rookie) season.

"Given what we expected from him, we're as disappointed as anybody with his rookie season so far. His overall grade isn't bad, but it's all driven by run defense, which typically goes unnoticed,” Monson said.

“As a pass-rusher, he's been virtually anonymous, with just 13 total pressures on the season, or six fewer than Jamal Adams...a safety. I think it's too early to declare him a bust, but he certainly needs to improve."
