no he isn't it was a joke, but I said this very thing just about word for word about the coverages were blowing.

not to toot my own horn, but our guys also run quarters(cover4) and cover 6.

Nolan may not be Belicheat, but he’s absolutely right. Like the little snippet from Parcells said - everyone does the same stuff. You just try to “trick it out” based on your guys. Unfortunately, we have some dumb players...quite a few them we’re in the last scheme and screwed up too.

exactly, what's funny is how in the beginning they (Xavier Woods)came out talking about how much better the defense would be with all the multiple schemes and disguising, now it's the coaches don't know what they're doing....lol

I mean until they get Awuzie back they may have no choice

They do. Nolan has said this defense is simplified to a scheme where HS level players are playing in it. It's not hard to find another CB and try.

I keep saying it. Around the league every team running a new scheme is sucking.

If you said there is just a few plays that make this defense bad, then you were dead wrong. I see play after play of getting beat all over the field by multiple players.

I have to believe if they had one on the roster they would've had him in, this isn't the first week Worley has stunk.

didn't say it was a few plays, it includes the secondary, its physical and mental, they can't keep their eyes off the eye candy, they align wrong, then when you come down to the front seven, they get physically whipped, especially on the dline, I also told folks Poe maybe done when we signed him, now we see he get washed and pushed around, then what makes it worst is he doesnt even do the fundamental thing you suppose to do. when you're a NT that is suppose to take on 2 linemen and control a gap , when you feel yourself getting washed you're suppose to drop to the ground and create a pile, not let the linemen drive youn5 yards down the field.

I'm sure Nolan used the same finger pointing and excuses when he led the Falcons to the worst defense in the league.
Now he is doing it with the Cowboys.

I want a coach that doesnt need to point the finger at others.
His pattern is the same of sucking over a few seasons with a few organizations.
The common denominator is Mike Nolan.

Sure our safeties suck. Who didnt know this when we were converting bad CBs to safety in camp.
Its his job to speak up then and get it fixed.

Where did Nolan say anything about Poe?

Its physical and mental? Gee, what a great call!!! You really nailed that one. LOL

I guess after your Garrett horror decade, you are trying to hang your hat on anything eh? :muttley:

I am not aware of any system that can make up for a lack of talent. They can go BDBD but they will still give up yards and points, just not the big play.

I don't know if Nolan is the answer but losing his 2 best DB's and LB's after the best DB and DL left for FA and trying to install a new system is a tall order.

I don't think he anticipated his offense giving up 6 picks and 5 fumbles through 6 games either. Those are extra possessions for the opposing offense and too often, good field position.

Worley's another cut candidate. Admit your mistake and do something about it. Elevate a practice squad guy for the role. At least that guy might have upside that Worley clearly doesn't.
Theres a fourth round corner that has yet to dress because they want to call him a safety.

I'd bet if we had decent safeties they would call him a corner.

Either way he needs to be on the field. This Worley guy is one of the worst football players I've ever seen.

I believe they're still keeping Chris Westry around as well.

And Deonte Burton too.

can you read, i guess I have to re explain to dummies like you, I used Poe as an example of physically getting whipped, see if you can comprehend that. Weren't you the one of the ones who swore things would be better now...lol I see your Garrett fetish is still a thing..:lmao:
