...especially our interior 3 Olinemen (McGovern, Biadasz and Williams) playing next to each other.

Watch...

With Left Tackle Brandon Knight out for a few weeks with injury, plus Right Guard Zack Martin missing this upcoming game due to concussion, who will be playing Left Tackle?

Once Zack Martin returns, will he go back to his Right Guard position, or will he move out to Left Tackle, thus leaving Connor McGovern at Right Guard? I would feel better having Zack Martin playing Left Tackle and better protecting QB Andy Dalton's blind side.

The lineup would look like this...

From left to right:

Martin - Williams - Biadasz - McGovern - Steele

What do you think about this lineup after the upcoming "Football Team" game once Zack Martin comes back?

Thoughts on everything I posted?

Watching it I thought the same thing. All I know is, I remember Dalton standing in the pockets for a few more seconds than usual.
You're right, Clove. That could be a good thing. At the same time, Andy needs to try to get rid of the ball a little quicker if possible.

Yeah... I don’t know about that. Maybe it was better than we thought since we had the Great Wall of Dallas for a while but... idk if it looked “pretty good”. I’d say below average-average. Combine that with Zeke’s fumbles and Dalton’s lack of reading and reacting to the blitzes, maybe it looked worse than we thought.

McCarthy claims the defense practiced better than the offense. Don’t know if that’s a good or a bad thing at this point, but we’ll see.

So you played Oline like the video creator (Voch Lombardi) and I did? Plus, you "starred" while playing on the Oline?

Oh, I get it. You don't want anyone giving kudos to this Oline because it makes your new idol, Andy Dalton, look bad? But if it was Dak, we all know you would have been praising the Oline while blaming Dak.

Dalton sucked, OL sucked, defense sucked, ST sucked, I’m not agenda driven like you. The cottage industries are alive and well. Maybe you and Voch should be sending your resumes to all the NFL teams for OL position coaches with all that knowledge and insight you have from your HS years of play. We get it the OL is great unless Dak is playing then it sucks, it’s ok we get it.

I guess I don’t remember that....I just remember thinking and saying how incredibly fast the pocket collapsed

EL Dak Sicko (Americascowgirl)wants to make sure no one uses the excuse that Dalton is playing with weak off-line.
His boy Dako played 4 years with pure gold on the offline and what did he manage?
NADA!

No, your analysis sucks because it's very obvious you don't do any in-depth research before you post and sound ridiculous.

From PFF ( Cowboys vs Cardinals ):

STORY OF THE GAME
As the saying goes, “you don’t know what you have until it's gone.” Many believed Andy Dalton would come in for the injured Prescott and at the very least look like a competent backup. Well, in his first contest as the starter, he struggled to meet those standards. He completed 63% of his passes for 266 yards at just 4.9 yards per attempt. He threw two interceptions and couldn't maintain offensive drives.

The interior of the offensive line did their part even with Zack Martin leaving due to a concussion early in the first half, allowing a combined two pressures and creating running lanes for their backs to hit. Their tackles were a different story, as undrafted rookie right tackle Terence Steele and second-year undrafted left tackle Brandon Knight allowed four pressures while being beaten by their defenders on many more occasions.

Elliott did not help matters, carrying the rock 12 times for 49 yards, zero touchdowns and one fumble. He also reeled in eight receptions but only gained 31 yards while fumbling the ball once more.

ROOKIE WATCH
Dallas had two rookies starting on their offensive line. Fourth-round center Tyler Biadasz fared much better than Steele, allowing zero pressures up the middle, though he was called on one holding penalty.

Had the Martin to LT thought a few days ago and I like it, I just dont see the team ever doing it.

I'm also not sure if sending him to LT is a great idea off a concussion....or that Martin returns before Knight does for that matter.

What you're proposing is better than what we will probably see the next two weeks...that's for sure.

Always liked the Biadasz draft pick. Looks like that position is set for the next 5 years.
