I do think you use this opportunity to play young and start the coaching search. Make it all open and transparent—if Mike wants to walk-ok.

Put an online through draft and FA in front of Z and Dak. You’ve already paid Z and you’re going to pay dak. So protect them and give this team an identity. You already have the WR’s.

Why cut anyone? Just let the players embarrass themselves every week. Cutting people will do no good. Bench the vets instead and go with the rookies. At least it will be a little fun watching some new faces. I would rather watch people lose if they are actually trying than players losing without even trying.

I would put out word that almost every veteran except for Martin is available for trade. Make an offer. I doubt many would offer much of anything though.

Let the NFL cry about their ratings dropping.

Try to get the #1 or #2 pick to draft Lawrence or Fields.

It needs to be the coaching staff. See if Garrett is still hanging around the building and if not make Moore the interim, not because I think he deserves a shot but because the players deserve to see what happens when you give up on your coach.

Might as well start the process of blowing the whole thing up if you can.

If I could get a top pick for Amari, I'd trade him and let the other team pick up his salary to offset the cap hit. Send him to Cam, who cares. You could cut Crawford and Poe and probably replace their production with guys off the street. Those moves would free up what you need to tag Dak if necessary and actually put some decent pieces around him. There are a few more moves you can do next year.

No point cutting veterans as contracts are guaranteed but I’d consider putting players up for trade and would start with Griffen, Zeke, and Jaylon. I think even with a trade Zeke costs us 7m of dead cap so that might have to be in the off season.
