Who knows if this stands today. But the second-year of Johnny Manziel in Cleveland was a better player than either Dalton or DiNucci or probably that guy we nearly picked up from the Detroit practice squad. If he had had better receivers who didn't drop passes near the goal line, his passer rating would have been well into the 90s. Given a little time in camp, he probably still would be. There was absolutely no reason we shouldn't have picked him up in the past few years.

Screw it, at this point I would just rather lose all the remaining games.

Why not give Kaepernick a tryout??? He led a team to the Superbowl. Even with the long layoff, he's still better than all of our backups.
I say give him a tryout. He's not good at reading defenses and not too accurate. But on the plus side he's extremely athletic and can run. Running would suit him perfectly in this situation. A tryout to kick the tires wouldn't be a bad idea IMHO.

No FA QB is hoping to sign with us and play behind that OL with that defense.

I don't want any other money added to this years cap unless it's to eat dead money on guys like DLaw and Jaylon Smith.

OK, maybe spend on ET just to come in here and punish these Hot Boyz. Half a season pay.

Jerry looks more and more like a football genius the longer I read this message board. And, no, that is not a Jerry Jones compliment.

No reason at all.
Good call Johnny.
