To be fair to Dalton he had just recovered from covid and people focus on a bad throw that could have been intercepted before he actually threw the game winning TD! Wow the hatred. His most important throw was on 4th down to Cooper during that final drive. Some people obviously hate Dalton because of their love for Prescott but that was a clutch throw and if he didn't execute that then the game was done.

Doesn't take a genius to see that cam and martin are better tackles than brandon and steele. Play calling helped esp in the red zone.

Proud of the scrappy, gritty performance AD gave us today... just what the Dr ordered

The needle threader is back. Some real nice tight throws and a nice first down at a crucial time. It was a whole team effort though where most all the players came together in good synergy.

Andy Dalton on his first full game still has some fine tuning to do. He needs to look for continuous improvement and use this game a foundation and baseline to improve on.

A lot can happen between now and the playoffs. Dallas proved they can compete with the best last week.

Play the game for what it is and don't worry about the SB. Just play football. There will be 31 teams that will fail and have lamenting fans this year.

Dalton was also threading that needle. Its risky to do so but thats been part of his hallmark.

LOL at this clown.
You are one to talk about rooting against your team after a victory.
Your entire posting history since 2016 has been whining about victories and celebrating loses.
Yup. Amazing how many people in this world want to act like crybabies for 4 straight years and then all of a sudden want to kiss and make up.

“c’mon guys, don’t treat Dalton like we treated Dak”.

Meh, he almost cost us the game. Several passes to wide open receivers were either overthrown or thrown short or behind like during the interception. A couple of other passes easily should have been intercepted as well.
Sound like some "hater" describing a Prescott game.

Dalton struggled to pass for 203 yards all 4 quarters.

Dak gains that in less than 1 half.

Not even a fair comparison. Try again.
Is that half the second in soft (garbage) time that Jerry alludes to? Come on it was a win and 31 points, my point was and you know you would be saying its a good win if Dak was the QB and calling everyone a hater or troll who posted comments like yours, sad you are a blind Dak fan not a Cowboys fan. Dalton was just good enough for a W same as Dak, but you like the bloated Stats and L's, we get it, but just good enough describes both Dak and Dalton in a W just admit it.

Did you see the game? You're proud of 203 passing yards and 6.3 air yards per attempt?

I like the W that's all, proud doesn't come into it at all for me. You were pretty proud of some of Dak's very similar outings and defended them as elite and great and that's the point ,you lack objectivity. You seem to more proud of those losses with those big stats that mean zero.

There you go again, making up more BS because you've already lost the debate. No one likes losing, much less accepts it. Stats is a part of the game that PROVES PRODUCTIVITY. Dalton is nowhere near in Dak's league when it comes to PRODUCTIVITY. That's just a FACT. It takes a team to win a game: FACT. Stats show one's productivity: FACT. Dak > Dalton: FACT.

You're hatred is blinding you to the facts.

I think a lot of the Dak fans fail to see that people are not arguing that Dalton is a super elite QB.

What we saw yesterday was a QB who most people regard as a solid veteran backup, and who would not be regarded as a long term starter, put up 31 points and a 104 QB rating, playing behind a makeshift OL in an away game against a team with a better record than us. The stats are very similar to those we've seen Dak put up in many games over the past 2-3 years.
A voice of reason in the wilderness, expect the hate very soon.

No BS except your lame reply, stats mean nothing and you don't mind the L's as long as your sweetheart puts up some meaningless stats in it. Why do you get so angry when someone says Dak isn't great, elite or a game changer. A average veteran back up just put up 31 points and got a win but you don't like it because it shows the lack of productivity in garbage time, nice spin try again. Sad like many you like to deflect and change the narrative, sad you can't see Dak as a good NFL QB but not a game changer and to come back to point as
@csirl said quite well:

You just refuse to see it because of your adoration of Dak.

the bad thing is dalton could take team to SB, and jones boys will still pay dak and make him starter again! lol
It's not bad because Prescott is clearly a much better QB than Dalton. It's not debatable.
You're attributing a team statistic to victories.
