The Cowboys Offensive Line probably had their best game of the season against Minnesota. Zeke had his 1st 100 yd game, Pollard had a long score and I believe the line only yielded 1 sack. Dalton appeared to have ample amount of time making his reads and delivering the football. Big question is, how good is the Minnesota front? Most would say, average at best, especially with Hunter out for the season.

Here comes the Washington Football Team in which their biggest strength is along their DL. Talent across the board, in which they dominated the trenches in the 1st game against the Cowboys and Andy Dalton. We will know late Thanksgiving night if this new look OL is for real.

If anyone thought for a moment that the Vikes were more of a threat than the WFT,, they were delusional

we should have extra motivation because they did knock out Dalton with that dirty hit and got flack for not coming to his aide and fight..well this would be good game to have revenge and just bulldoze those guys.. PB had a good DL, LBs and S and we played pretty well..

in some ways this might be the best we have to offer and they are starting to gel, Knights back as well and Steeles on the bench..might be the best situation on the OL since Game 1

I hope someone in the locker room has been showing that hit on replay to the OL over and over and to the team , has to be some level of payback in their minds going into this game and its must win to save the season..

no smashing Watermelons show that clip 100times and do the old parcells motivation with the mousetraps and the card saying" dont eat the cheese." after this last win.

You would hope so, but as a practical matter even if they do come out breathing fire and blasting the W d-line players back 5 yards at the snap of the ball, that kind of emotion typically only lasts a quarter or so, then it's back to talent and coaching as to who wins the battle at the line. It is possible to sustain the emotion longer, just not something that's easily or often done...

all we need a fast start and put WFT on notice they are in for fight..

they played our worst OL lineup and knocked out or QB with dirty hit to win the last game..our defense only gave up 3 points in that second half of the last game in case fans forget..that was the start of the defense beginning to go from worst to at least respectable now..you saw it that half, led into the eagles and into the steelers and even after losing Diggs they did pretty well against MN..So this is a better team then we were then in our house and i want to see some passion..

so if our offense comes out and just punches them in the mouth we should have nice outcome..:flagwave:

That would be nice, but I want to win because we're the better team, not because we get all indignant because of what they did to Dalton, if that's the case what happens when they play the next game? Won't have the emotion to work with, you'll have to win because you play better.

I guess I'm more of a Tom Landry type, win the game with your head and your body, keep your emotions in check...

Playing a hated divisional rival should be enough motivation, knocking out our QB and with the division on the line, makes a huge game! Who would of though that a week ago!

Count me in as delusional. I would much rather play the Washington Team Football than the Vikings. Defensively Washington poses more of a threat, but not even close offensively. Dallas weakness is defense, their strength is offense. I'd think the former Commanders would pose less of a threat against our current team.

They’ve put up decent numbers since Smith came in and not sure Awuzie can match McLaurin. I get what you’re saying. Gibson has been improving.

If we play like we have the last two, we will win this game.

Problem is in the first game we lost 25-3, neither offense nor defense played worth a flip, whereas the other team played well in both areas, 400 yards offense, 208 yards rushing by their offense, 3 turnovers by their defense, including a safety.

Of course it's not likely Dallas will play that poorly again, and not extremely likely the other team will play that well again, considering the game is in Dallas and the other team has to travel for a Thursday game after playing Sunday...

I understand what you're saying. I did not think the Cowboys were beating Washington when they first met. The results didn't surprise me. The Cowboys were dead in the water and all the former Commanders had to do is keep their foot on their neck. This Cowboys team has been playing entirely different.

The game with the Vikings was a really physical game. Have to hope that this didn't take too much out of them on a short week.

Thursday's game is going to be chippy and probably have its share of scuffles after the whistle with unsportsmanlike penalties. Don't know if anyone noticed Sunday, but Cam Erving was very active around the "pile" pulling defenders off Cowboys ball carriers and getting "his guy" out of the scrum. Add #70 to that mix of enforcer type posture and this one may get ugly quick.

Erving is mixing it up because the entire OL got a down dressing from Zack Martin over not killing Bostic in the last game against the ***s.

Martin is going to end up taking a personal foul at one point in the game when he's got a clear shot at Bostic that won't kill an important drive.

As an overall team the Vikings are better. Their offensive weapons are phenomenal. They have issues on defense. However, we may not match up as well across the board with Washington. F1 and Gibson are players, Mckissic has also been tough catching the ball.
