Seriously? A Cowboys strength and conditioning coach has a medical emergency and you exploit it as an opportunity to bash Jerry Jones when you have no proof whatsoever except claiming you have been exposed to similar type communication protocols? And the "whatever media advisory" timed it so that when Jerry got off, he in effect could feign ignorance of the medical emergency of a coaching staff member? Are you sweating Giuliani hair dye?

Shortly before 7:30 a.m. this morning, Dallas Cowboys Strength and Conditioning Coordinator Markus Paul experienced a medical emergency. Paul was immediately treated by Cowboys medical personnel and transported to a local hospital by ambulance.

As per the Paul family, Markus is in the process of undergoing further medical tests and additional information will be made available at the appropriate time.

The Dallas Cowboys players and staff attended a pre-scheduled 8:05 a.m. team meeting this morning and were told by head coach Mike McCarthy that today's practice, scheduled for 11:30 a.m., would be cancelled.

The organization extends its prayers and support to the Paul family, and asks for friends and followers of Markus, his family and the team to keep them in their thoughts and prayers.

Yeah I listened to Jerry's spot on The Fan this morning and then switched over to the Ticket. They pretty much refused to announce or speculate on anything without verification. Kudos to them for that.

Yeah, I was hesitant to post anything about his passing until someone from the Cowboys media confirmed it. In this case, a former player posted it and others ran with it.

Exactly! I avoided it as well but once Dallas media confirmed it, I updated the thread title.

Now all of the media people are deleting their tweets to save face.

This happens every single time once of these incidents occur. People prematurely say the person has died. And exaggerate the situation to something it isn't. It's ridiculous.Everyone wants to be that one person who breaks the new elements of the story.

I don't think anyone here did anything wrong, there were some pretty credible people saying he died on Twitter, yes they have to save face now. Lesson learned all around.
