The Cowboys are the team they hate the most and will not help them get in and do whatever to lose. Run on 3rd and 10 or throw a bomb on 3rd and 1 lol
They have no love for the Commanders and actually would be the ones knocking them out. Much more satisfying for them. And they have so many reasons to play well. Their GM, coach and QBs are all fighting for their jobs. Pedersen might get one more year, but their Super Bowl win is certainly looking like a complete fluke.

If we win I dont see Hurtz playing

It's more important who plays for the WFT than for the Eagles. No matter who the Eagles put at QB, I like them better than Haskins or Heinecke. But if Alex Smith plays, the WFT has a much better chance (still not great though if he's a little hobbled).

And it's important that Fletcher Cox plays, because he'll be instrumental in shutting down the WFT running game.

All in all, it will be hard for the Eagles to play inspired football if the Cowboys win their earlier game. They're bound to come out flat if they have nothing to play for. The only saving grace for the Cowboys is that the WFT is mediocre at best, and very beatable, whoever is playing QB...which doesn't say a whole lot about the Cowboys since the WFT easily swept them this season.

Can't believe the Cowboys are even in this position, to be honest...but when your division stinks, your team is never out of it.

Key is whether Alex Smith plays...and the eagles don’t play their scrubs for the sole purpose of crushing our dreams. I tend to think they will want to get Hurts as many reps and time as possible and they won’t leave him out there without all the other starters. That said, they could pull their starters after half too.

Yeah this isn't how this works

If Haskins is the QB we go to the playoffs. If Smith is the QB, we are just killing our draft position.
This so true and I disagree with the NFL. They should keep the game at the same time.

Good news and bad news.

The good news is that being a prime time game will motivate Philly to not roll over like a puppy wanting a belly rub.

The bad news is Alex Smith probably plays which greatly increases Washington's chances of winning.

what make you think it's automatic with Smith sinking and donking. their offense still struggle with him.

Uh, no.

This benefits the NFL...they will make more money and have more viewers for that game than maybe any this year. You will have either the Dallas market, which is easily the biggest draw nationally in the league, or you will have the New York market, along with the DC market and Philly market. This is a smart move by the league. Would make no sense to put the Dallas game later than the Washington game because then you lose one of the huge fan bases.
Do not attempt to be reasonable in the Cowboy Zone.

exactly. It benefits the NFL ONLY. Not the fans, nor the players. The NFL and their money.
What? I think it clearly benefits the fans.

I know you’re impatient, but thats hardly a reason for the NFL to tank the final week of the regular season and remove the hype by scheduling all the meaningful games at noon

they should have moved the Cowboys to 3:00. That would have been a good change for Dak’s as well

I hope Fletcher Cox is able to play for the Eagles.

If he's able to play against the WFT, the Eagles chances of winning dramatically increase.

If Philly wasnt playing the WFT and playing a non division team I would say they would lose. The Eagles hate the WFT as much as they hate us.
BUT........ Eagles lose gives them a better draft pick????? The Eagles are always sticking it to us.

I gives us a 60% chance to beat Giants. I give the Eagles a 60% chance at home to beat WFT.

40% chance to make the playoffs?

The actual odds are 26%
