I love how all the usuals already have next season figured out already.
So do we have to put up with a full off season of Debbie downers yet again? Or are they fed up and will go away and make another teams board filled with miserable posts and threads?

Of course I will drink the Kool Aid. The off season has to include:

LT solution to QB position

Draft a OT, DT, LB, S and another LB

Sign a veteran LB, S

Cut Jaylon Smith

Replace Nolan

Re up with Lewis

Take Urban Meyer out to lunch with an open mind.

What happened? Did we get a new GM? A new DC?

Barring any unforeseen circumstances we are one of the powerhouses next year.

Right you are, govnor. Did Jesus take Jerry and his band of clowns to heaven? Did we hire Saban or a Harbaugh? Did we suddenly get a capable GM?

For someone to guess we'll be a powerhouse next year, before the season ends, before signing deadlines, before FA and the draft and minicamps Is ... ridiculous.
It's a snake-oil salesman statement with little understanding of how even a small wrinkle like a Dak injury can affect the entire team and season.
But, with such arrogance about next season, let me venture that the WFT and the Giants will improve and challenge the soft and discombobulated Cowboys. But that's the extent of me guessing.

But, again, where do some find the presumptuousness to say we are a powerhouse next season?
Maybe upon a visit to fantasyland that is oft-visited by Jerry and sons....

This season ranks right up there with any of the worst seasons in Cowboy history. We had the high expectations to make a real run at the Super Bowl. We were in a weak division... we had a new Super Bowl winning coach and an improved defensive coaching staff... we had arguably the best receiver in the draft added to our team... our OLine should once again be strong... our best LB was healthy again and there was a lot of hope... then COVID19 hit.

It's finally over and I must say, I'm gonna drink the Kool Aid for next year. We have a lot to build on and I got a good feeling about next year. I thinkMcCarty will get this ship righted. We'll see.
As long as Jerry is the GM we will rise and repeat, sorry been watching this since 1989 and since Jimmy left it's been like ground hog day, the movie.

First year since I don’t know when I didn’t watch a game. I ocassionally peeked but not for long. I think Jerry finally won. I just don’t care anymore.

Its amazing how much time me love of watching the cowboys took. 16 x 3.5 hours a season and you can complete a doctorate online instead...

3.5 hours each week, to watch Jerry's Kids play, is taking huge chunks of all of our lives, mateys.
Now, if and when Jerry gives us a competitive team, 3.5 hours seem reasonable. But not until then.
Not for a 6-10 team that is barely competitive in a second-rate East.

I was hoping this thread was about Nolan getting crap canned.
