Doesn’t matter what scheme we were going to go to. Going to need a lot of talent through the draft and free agency this offseason. The players we have now are just familiar with this scheme. And Quinn isn’t as predictable as Marinelli.

It was one of the first times Skip didn’t seem like he was doing his schtick aside from saying Gallimore is definitely going to be a player because he’s a Sooner. He was rational.

There are too many holes in the current roster of defensive players to make this a good 4-3 team in 2021. The 2021 draft class better be all defense and still there will have to be some good additions through free agency. Dan Quinn is over his head. Maybe in 2022, we'll have a good 4-3 defense but I doubt the Jones boys will give Quinn that amount of time to turn this defense around.

Too negative on our DBs. Diggs came along, Wilson showed up. I'll go with both of them as starters.

For the defense, I see 4 starters in Diggs, Wilson, Gregory, and DLaw. Maybe LVE, as I still don't understand how he's fallen so much. Lots of draft picks, and some money we spent last year in salary on nothing getting freed up for another try this year. Hopefully some addition by subtraction with Jaylon. Sure could use Gallimore or Hill coming through into a real starter.

It's not all doom and gloom. There's a lot more coming in the offseason.

Doesnt matter who we hired The haters will gloat. However you dont need great players in all of those positions, yes he had them in Sea, but man let's just see what he does before we say he cant he wont or he sucks smdh. I think we will be fine he key thing is he is a Teacher. And some of these guys were on this team when they were top 5 D a few years ago. They just need to find what they had then and adjust amd build off it. We need a few peices not an entirely new D

You know what is even funnier when the Cowboys beat Seattle in the playoffs in 2018 Jaylon outplayed and beat Wagner. Real Cowboys fans laughed that night as well.:):muttley:

scheme , coach matters not if said players fit neither scheme because THEY SUCK.Problem is many of our players are lacking high FB IQ. Plus, aren't very good. The entire laziness thing that WOODS so eloquently pointed out last year was evident by the entire D except for guys like Wilson. WOODS HAS TO GO FIRST THEN JAYLON. I could care less what scammers like Skip think btw
