So after looking at several pages, i haven’t found much that you offer to change “these posts”. I’m just saying. If you don’t like it, don’t read it. or create a post that would garner better discussion.
This is a cheap way to garner discussion. I like Thornhill too but he didn’t even have a good year and he’s apart of a unit that isn’t even good. He would stink here with the rest of these riff rafs.

It was as if Hill was targeted from the beginning of the draft.

Marinelli probably told Jerry he would turn him into a star so we wouldn't miss not having a 1st.

Way too much of people telling him what he wants to hear.

Regardless the Tristan Hill pick was stupid when 3 of the Top safeties were available, ALL easily out ranking Hill on everybody's Draft board except our idiotic Front Office..

The cowboys telegraphed the pick.

everyone knew they were taking Trysten. The Dallas media. The fans. Everyone on this message board.

everyone knew the cowboys decided they were taking Trysten before their pick was up and seeing what other players were available.

then better players fall right into their lap, ready to be picked. And the cowboys still stick with “their guy” and take Trysten.

All because Trysten went out to a nice dinner with Marinelli and they fell in love or some bull**** like that.

Always Jerry's fault when a player we pass on does well. We take a player who does well and Jerry had nothing to do with it. Right...

Jerry's hits have been few and far between, like a broken clock being right. 25 years of proven futility and incompetence but you are right, he needs to be given credit for the few right picks he did make.

Chiefs defense has two smaller and very athletic safeties. Maybe the Cowboys should try that strategy. Nothing the defense has done haha worked recently.

draft slam dunks with Watt and Thornhill have killed us,there is accountability with this FO,any other GM would be fired for making such obvious mistakes.

19 years and counting...these clowns have not drafted a safety in round 1 or 2 in that long

Byron Jones doesn't count as he was primarily a CB in college and failed when they tried to switch him to safety.

Generally speaking rueing is worthless if you cannot come up with causes and their solutions.

If you look at most of the picks from defense you can see Marinelli's fingerprints all over them. Fortunately he's gone.

Nolan actually had a good track record with talent. He should've been a scout not a coach.

Quinn did not have a lot of top 100 success for defense in Atlanta or Seattle.

I think the solution here is to stop letting coaches allow you to focus on individuals they single out.

And why is everyone acting like Hill hasn't been trending upwards in his level of play?

Exactly. Coaches overrode the scouts on the Trysten pick and the Taco pick.

and they blew both of them.
