Who cares? As long as Dak is wearing the Star in game 1 of the 2021 season, none of it matters.

It was the idiots in the media department.
If true, they should be fired, especially if it causes problems with resigning Dak. Dak and his family must have seen this by now. How does one think he/they are going to react?

The Salary Cap is decreasing by 20M in 2021 and Dak reportedly wants more money than the Cowboys have previously agreed to give him. Sounds like he may be gone.

If Dak isn't man enough to handle an unintentional snub or business decision snub in the process of a contract negotiation, then he's not man enough to lead the team to a SB. What matters is if he's a Cowboy when the season starts. If not, it sucks but the team will move on with or without him.

Seriously, either it was intentional or not. If it wasn't and he gets butt hurt? He's a baby. If it was intentional, then it's part of the negotiating process (right or wrong). I seriously doubt a hype video that lacks him is going to bother him much if they give him a fair offer. He's already proved that he's all about the money first. (Which is fine, since that's how almost all of today's players are.)

There never was an agreement.

If this was intentional, this was a stupid business decision. You pretty much are destroying any bridges still left up to cross upon. Why do this intentionally if you supposedly want to keep the player? Quit messing around and let him go if it's gotten to this point of intentional disrespect. This macho crap is childish and says a lot about why this organization has stunk for the last 25 years. They run and overpay years early for those who should be cautious with. But the ones who truly keep improving every year, breaking franchise records and getting better and better you hesitate to pay well? That's just stupid business!

But we don't know what insults his camp (Him and his agent) have thrown behind closed doors. We just know some of the comments his brother has made. Since we have no idea what's really going on, it's silly to take one side or the other. Either he's going to be a Cowboy or he's not. I sure hope he remains a Cowboy, but maybe he's indicating that he doesn't want to be. Who knows?

Yes, I know. Dak is not innocent here either. $35 million/season is definitely more than enough money for any starting QB in today's NFL. If Dak is suddenly asking for more, screw him! Tag him first to force him to be on the team this year, then find a partner to trade him to.

Don't for one second think that the control freaks in the FO didn't have a final say on that video.

They may come out later and say they never approved it, don't believe it.

Right, I only thought a half a second and dismissed it because Egleton is in charge and he said it was an oversight on his part. Go back to your conspiracy theory website. Lots of kooks there who will believe you.

I mean it's kind of stupid to release a video where your QB isn't featured. So either you have a stupid media production group or the front office was sending some sort of under the radar message. Both are pretty dumb.

I just thought he was too busy filming commercials to show up for the video.

And speaking of truth in advertising, and I am sure somebody was, how about a "hype" video? Was that created by Blue Sky Video?

I'm just curious why or what the team is trying to hype. Are they trying to hype a losing record? A miserable front office? A mediocre coaching staff? A sketchy roster? The last of 25 years of futility? Just what are they trying to hype?
The same fandom that buys that every season.
