I do think that a QB has to be seriously in contention for them. Most likely Lance at their spot. Jones could be a wild card if he has a good pre draft.

I just cannot believe that they think Goff is the answer. He's just the placeholder(and that's not for sure) until they get a guy in.

Tall really skinny QB's generally just don't make it in the NFL due to lack of body armor.

I think some people just want to believe the Lions are playing 4D chess with this trade.

All you have to do is go back and rewatch week 1. Our defense was awful and they mustered all of 20 points. That offense just wasn't a threat down the field

They'd be wasting that pick. Who's going to be there at number 7? Trey Lance? His style may work in college, but in the NFL it's not worth a six pack of coke let alone a 7th overall pick. They'd be smarter to take a chance in the following rounds.
