Are they allowed to contact college players yet to have such meetings.
I just created a thread that shows the dates of colleges having pro days / combine type workouts. So maybe they meet with certain players there. And the virtual meetings come later.

They’ll make the first couple picks off film no need to tip their hand with an interview. It is surprising to see the RBs, WRs, and DEs. I’m guessing they don’t want to depend on Greggory and Tank only. The QB interviews are interesting as well, you’ve got to expect a late round pick. No CBs, but some FSs makes me think they resign the guys they have. There are some LBs, but it looks like way more DL and some OL. I’m seeing a BPA draft with maybe some head scratcher picks at RB, WR, and QB. Also no TEs, I’m seeing Pitts or nothing at TE.

Not really seeing 1st rd top ten picks in this list maybe a trade down pick up more picks??
When I hear of more will let you know.
It gives us some insight, look at all those defensive lineman they talked to. Also, both the top two safeties are clearly on their radar.

I'd prefer a trade down, unless one of the top dogs fall down to 10, similar to what happened with Lamb last year (though even at that I would have preferred a defensive player instead, said so at the time, and we see how horrid the defense was so maybe that'd been a better selection? But that's water under the bridge) or if the Cowboys can work out more picks in the first and second rounds. Don't want to see a trade for more third or later round picks, those players typically need "seasoning" or have shortcomings that need fixing, e.g. and won't help the team right away.

But that's just me, I'm not running the draft for the Cowboys.

Though I should be.

:D

Does anyone know how many we are allowed to virtual meet with? I know they dont want to tip their hand but if Im going to draft someone I would like to know a little bit about them. If there is no limit then I would be hitting as many as I could without tipping my hand.

It's interesting not a single CB is listed........I know it's not saying much coz it's too early but still interesting.

Last time we did that high in the draft we got Mo Claiborne.
They should at least pick the brains of players they think may fall to them.

@Bowdown27 The Cowboys talked to him at the combine. But that was it.

We had luck with the last Oklahoma state receiver. I am a big fan of Wallace.

Put him at the Z receiver and he will open off the top for Coop and Lamb ... assuming we trade Gallup

Mo’s arms are so long no need for an interview, haha. I didn’t like that pick. If an interview can prevent that then I’m for it. I’m not sure an interview would help them decide to take Pitts, Sewell, Slater, Farley or Surtain. Also, they don’t always interview their secret pick.
