Calling it now. I've not heard a single other person suggest it. Want this in writing well before the draft.

T-Ro says:
Lawrence, Wilson, Fields, Jones and Lance (in some order) will all be gone at the end of the first five picks.

And don't be surprised if Mills and Mond are selected before the first 40 picks.

If Cincinnati were really smart, they'd draft a quarterback.

“Yeah, it could happen. Daniel Jeremiah (on the NFL Network today) said there were rumblings that SF moved up to 3 to take Mac Jones.

I can’t really imagine that being true... but if it is, then yeah, 5 QB’s likely go in the top 10.”

It isn’t exactly the same thing as I said five in the first 10 picks and you said 5 in the first 5... but still, I definitely think it could be 5 QB’s going before Dallas picks. If Jeremiah is right and San Francisco did move to #3 for Jones, it is pretty much a lock that it’ll be 5 before Dallas... and yes, it very well could be 5 in the first 5.

Either of those scenarios would be good news for Dallas.

I don't think so. There are two, possibly three, blue chip prospects mixed in with the QBs - Chase, Sewell, and Pitts. One of the top 5 teams will value one of those guys too much to move out of their spot (Cincy, for sure).

However, top 4, I can totally see--Lawrence, Wilson, Lance, Fields

I can’t see Mac Jones going top 5. Maybe in the first round but top 5 picks seem unlikely. Bengals aren’t trading their top 5 pick and take the chance of losing out on pitts or chase

I am still curious about San Fran. Wilson could go to Jets at 2. So who does Sam Fran want that badly? Fields? Jones?

These qbs are not going the first 5 not a chance in hell. There’s is a chance that they go in the first 10. Cincy isn’t taking a qb they need to protect burrow they will take Sewell . I also believe the WR talent is too good to pass up on at least 1 if not 2 will go early. I would love for Parsons to fall to us it’s just doubtful

I think we'll get three in the top-10 and five in the first round. Chase, Smith, Pitts, and Sewell are all elite blue-chip talents. They'll all go top-10 and at least two of those go top-5. Then you have Slater, Surtain, and Parson who round out the top of the draft and it's a significant drop-off after that.

There is a very good chance Dallas doesn't get a shot at any of the elite talent in this draft @10. I'm all aboard for JOK if that's the case.

I would say with 100% certainty Parsons will fall to 10.
I hope he doesn't though . I want at least 4 QBs. 3 WR and 2 defensive players off the board before 10 and Kyle Pitts is setting there waiting for us.

Well, the only time I’ve heard Jones linked to SF is when Jeremiah said that about hearing that’s who they moved up for.

As for Lance vs Fields, my thinking goes like this: The niners reportedly really liked Lance at his pro day. Fields has yet to have his pro day, which is next week. If you’re going to trade multiple first round picks to make a big jump up to #3 for a QB, you probably at least wait for his pro day before pulling the trigger on a trade like that.

That was the first thing that went through my mind when the trade up was made with Miami. It is why I’ve been saying that Lance is the guy. It isn’t a guarantee, of course, but it does make more sense.

At the 3rd pick SF doesn’t have to worry about keeping their target secret because they’d likely be happy with Lawrence, Wilson or Lance... so there was no reason to wait for Fields’ pro day to keep people guessing.

Of course, they’ve seen Mac Jones’ pro day, and if they fell in love with him I guess they could have traded up for him.

But as for Lance vs Fields... I’d guess Lance.

To me that’s a tough choice if we had Parsons , Pitts and Slater all there at 10. I don’t necessarily consider Pitts a need but of the 3 I would think he’s he best value and most potential .

I would like Parsons our LBs suck but Pitts could be a generational talent. I wouldn’t be upset if we picked him. That said of the 3 I mentioned he the one least likely to he there IMO
