I'm no fan of Jerry's, but history doesn't support that a shiny piece designed to sell merchandise has been the overriding concern with the Cowboy's first round draft picks. Lamb was a shiny piece, before that Zeke back in 2016, and before that Dez in 2010. Otherwise the picks have not been used on flashy players over the last 10-12 years.

True, but I wouldn’t put it past him. We all know he wanted Manziel and he takes risks way too often in place of common sense. Whether it’s drafting a RB with the 4th overall pick or taking players with injury and character concerns he’s not to be trusted.
