His playing time will smother other young DB's. Let's just hope he's worth it. Fingers crossed.
The beauty of the DB position is there’s more than one on the field at a time. Diggs, Lewis, Brown and even Joseph will all get those initial starter snaps. Once those 4 leave the game, 4 more must replace them. This is where Wright, Mukuamu, and Robinson get their burn. You’re acting as if the lineup will be Wright, Wright, and Wright.

I don’t see how he would stop others from playing, the math doesn’t add up more than 1 DB must be on the field at all times defensively.

This board has too much invested in the narrative that he’s terrible. Fragile egos will shatter if he’s even remotely competent.

Not about whether he ends up good or not. It’s the fact that we used a 3rd round pick on a guy who was on nobody’s radar. That is what is driving the Zone crazy.

Time will tell. We still have UDRFA to bring in.

Notice Sherman's response ........:lmao:

Sherman didn't need a ton of agility or athleticism. Guy is really intelligent. Jason Witten was the antithesis of agility and athleticism, but he was intelligent and pretty much technically flawless.

Kid better find be one of those as well. Agility and athleticism only goes so far.

For sure, at DB though there should be time for all. Now if it was RB or TE then I definitely understand. Seems like we both want him to succeed though so we agree on that
I just want competitions to be fair. Seems here recently they haven't been. Because there is a chance Donovan Wilson won't be starting for us again this year. Neal and Kazee could be starting.

He's a more athletic and agile version of a guy that's destined for Canton. How is that not a steal at pick 99?

He's certainly not lacking confidence.

He sold the Cowboys lol.

3rd round pick. I still can’t believe it.

This is one of those times id love to know where he would go if Dallas hadn’t have drafted him.

That's hard to say but I think there was 3-4 CB's taken immediately after him.

“I look at myself as a more athletic and agile Richard Sherman. That scheme just fits perfect.” - New Cowboys CB Nahshon Wright]
Alright, Wright - you talking the talk; now walking the walk = beating out fellow rook Joseph to be the starting CB opposite Diggs week 1 for season 2021.
