That’s not fair

Easy excuse for Dak to start 0-2

:muttley:
really not bad at all hopefully more B2B home games later in the season and we get all offseason to prepare for the bucs then 10 days for game 2..could be worse.

We’re going to lose a lot of games this season. I know we have this “2nd easiest schedule BS” but I don’t believe that clickbait. Dallas isn’t ready.

Keep that negative crap to yourself. Dallas isn’t ready according to you.

If that's the case, then why watch this season? I think this team will do well actually. May be a bit of a rough start as the defence gels (and they'll have a preseason to help with this), but I think this team can compete. I think this team can at least win the division and get at least to the divisional round. As this defence gets more experience, I expect them to come into their own. We just need the D to be average, and the offense can take care of the rest.

Honestly it’s sad when you look at the schedule and say welp that’s a lot of L’s again

I'd say that the league office is trying to screw us as usual, and put us in an early 0-2 hole....but the joke is on them, because we have ZERO home field advantage at AT&Turd Stadium anyway!!!

How long to fly from Dallas to Tampa? 2-1/2 hours?
How long to fly from Dallas to LA? 3-1/2 hours?

Not that big a deal in my opinion. Enough time to get a good nap.
Exactly
This isn't Seattle going to Miami, then turning around and going to Baltimore or New England
These are not super long flights

Plus it's 10 days between games

They’re still my team at the end of the day. It’s like going to your son’s football game even though they’re not that great of a player. You still go to watch to support. And you’re right. They might be a fire team this season. But.... you can’t get your hopes up with this team.... Dallas is a special case. They do way better as underdogs rather when they are hyped up in every and any scenario.

I agree that we do better as underdogs, and I think it's good that we're going into game 1 as underdogs. Coincidentally, I hope that more teams trash talk our team. I think our team plays better when not only are they underdogs but they're challenged. The Bucs (classlessly) and the Chargers provided smack talk for our team. I hope our team takes them to task for it. I get not getting hopes up, but I do think the Cowboys are going to want to pound those two. Especially for an Instagram post that came from someone associated with Raymond James Stadium towards Dak.

Comes down to this....they never have a head coach strong enough to convince them they still stink and have work to do come playoff time.

What we actually get is Jerry talking Super Bowl with the toughest games still in front of the team.

The team buys their own headlines worse than any organization ever.

That's how you blow two one seeds.....but coaching doesn't matter Jerry, does it now?

Is it just me? I don’t get at all excited about each year’s schedule.
Free agency, trades, draft, preseason reports, games, team roster and churning, I find all of it interesting.

Next year’s schedule? I really don’t care. It’s just 16 games to play.

I think the team saw last year with the defence that they've got a lot to do to make the playoffs. I think McCarthy's challenge about everyone needing competitions and the other things he said so far about getting faster are challenges to the team to play better. Additionally, I do actually think Quinn will be a nice change for our defence. He may not be a great HC (though he's been to more Super Bowls as a HC than anyone we've had since Parcells and has been there more recently than this franchise), but I can see him being like a Wade Phillips DC in the sense that he may not be the best HC, but he's one hell of a DC mastermind. I think our D is going to be in the best hands it's been since Phillips was here. I don't expect them to go from worst to first in game one, and I do expect growing pains. But I think if we're patient, I think we'll see this defence reach the level I think it will. This is why I'm optimistic. Additionally, it's nice to have Dak back.

This Quinn defense is going to be tested early.

The key to this season is patience folks.....meaning absolutely no draft talk until week nine at the earliest.
I’m betting it starts week 3.
