Im loving this draft class. The warming up period with the public interviews. I dont see a dislikeable guy in the group. Of your right, that don't mean shut Mr. Natural but they seem way better then the bad actors I was reading about. I wont bother with the disclaimers about their not even in pads yet that's obvious.

I like the "screw the media pundits attitude", we know our stuff and we're taking who we want and where we value them. Judge the results in due time we'll take the heat. And the heat will be coming like a freight train. First Tampa Bay and next Justin Herbert We needed exactly what we got.

They drafted the guys that were high on their draft board. Maybe they did more due diligence on the picks that were supposed reaches. And the ones with character concerns. I am willing to wait and see

Yep! SB bound! JJ an LD Co. have done it again. That’s why we stay on top every year.

I still think if you look at who was on the board when Dallas was picking they took the one of the best players available with the exception of Wright. We could argue Slater over Parsons but either pick is the best they could have done at that point for different reasons. I believe Joseph was absolutely the right pick at 44 once they took Parsons at 12. We could argue that taking Slater than JOK would have been a better option but again, the picks they made are good players. I think Joseph is going to be a lot better than people expect. I don't like how the 3rd round turned out but once McNeill went off the board, and then Milton Williams, Osa Odighizuwa was the best player there for Dallas. I think the Cowboys really wanted Williams because his measurements are similar to Odighizuwa's.

The Cowboys had some bad luck in this draft with other teams taking their players just ahead of them. I think Denver taking Surtain with two QB prospects on the board still surprised some people - including me. Maybe Denver was closer to getting Rodgers than we know, or maybe Elway made a mistake - or maybe he saw something about Fields and Jones he didn't like.

I think the only mistake they made is not being more aggressive moving up in the 3rd round. If they had a DL target in the 3rd round they should have tried harder to move up and get him. They need major upgrades on the DL.

Do you trust Gregory to stay out of trouble? Do you feel as though all his issues are being dealt with, he is in a good place to focus on football?

How far do you trust Jaylon's leg? When all is said and done, was he worth a redshirt rookie season and a 2nd round pick, with a 2nd contract?

LVE's neck issues, didn't the Cowboys know this was a possibility?

We can never be sure. That's part of the price of taking such a risk and don't think it's not a gamble. Other players will give you that piece of mind when it comes to issues effecting productivity, not these guys.

This year's draft has a couple of similar concerns. Determining the value of such risks won't be possible until several seasons if they can last.

This could be a very good draft class but they definitely passed up better talent and reached for need.

Neither Osa or Goldston were on any BPA lists at the time. Not even close.

EVERY pick in the 3rd round was a head scratcher. All 3 were slotted to go lower then where they were picked.

First round they nailed the pick. Both talent and need were met to perfection. 2nd round I have no doubt they targeted corner and probably reached. WE can only hope that works out.

The 3rd round was all reaching for need. Badly reaching.

What trouble? His issue was pot, which is now legal to use in the NFL. He no longer has any issues.

I initially thought the same thing, and was bashing our decisions after the third round. After looking it over more, I'm willing to at least keep an open mind. Wright's obviously the most critiqued pick, but even if you throw out that pick all together I like the rest of it. Once you get to pick 50 or so, it gets more and more blurry between who the better player is and who knows if Wright isn't better than the guys taken at pick 100+.

The biggest problem that the FO will have to deal with is if Wright doesn't pan out and Molden or Melifonwu are good players, then it looks very bad to have reached that far for "your guy". The next several picks had five players I would've been much more excited about, but hopefully Wright proves me wrong.
