That dude weighed like 290. He probably has nothing to do with Bohanna

Maybe. I think there is more to a player than just weight. I wouldn’t put all my eggs in weight.

I like Bohanna’s chances to make the roster. However, 330 is a lot of weight to carry around and awful on the knees. Bohanna has to stay healthy and show more than just being a plug in the middle. I don’t see a lot of value in a player who can only play against the run in a pass happy league.

This assumes our CB’s will travel...if not, having CB’s with different skill sets sounds good on paper but is kind of irrelevant. Are you expecting the CB’s to travel? I’m not.
That might mitigate the need, but having the ability to match up is always a plus. And according to Quinn this defense won’t be a repeat of his previous ones, we can’t be sure of everyone’s responsibilities right now.

That bit about Joseph’s quickness is just what you want to hear. One of the reasons some had Horn over Surtain and were weary of Surtain in general was because he was better matched for big-bodied WR’s. With Diggs already being that guy here, it would be redundant to have two of that type corner and have no one suited for quicker and faster guys outside.

Taking Joseph was perfect in that regard. His 4.3-4.4 speed with quickness and change of direction fluidity is the right match to Diggs and his style of play.
Like fitting pieces in a puzzle.. some may laugh and discredit a pick like Wright with his measurables, but I can see Quinn putting pieces together on this baron wasteland of a defense.
I believe in Wright and Mukuamu, I think this is a direct hand shake between Quinn and McClay,, with stamp of approval from the FO.
Joseph and Cox were easy picks.
Parsons was obvious.
This defense got a lot better quickly.

Wait.... I thought everyone on here said Nashon Wright couldn’t even make a practice squad and rookie camp would prove he’d drown?

Maybe he can develop into something. Very encouraging seeing him say he got the pick because he could tell what route was coming. That’s picking stuff up quick!

cant wait for preseason games for these rookies. Aside from Parsons/Joseph it’s probably the most extensive playing time any of them will see this year.
Well you know the scouts on Cowboyszone had him as a 7th round pick........

I think most liked the player
Just not the round he was picked in
I mean if you like the player it shouldn't matter what round he was picked in. But I get it.......but people tried to play him like he was practice squad bound. Like he was a 7th round talent.

They have a bunch of UFAs too. They went heavier on offense with the UFAs. The UFAs have pretty much equal chance of making the team as the late round draft picks. Not really much difference between 5th, 6th, 7th rd picks and UFAs.

The V-man has a lot of competition. The WR from Iowa. Fehoko, Cedric Wilson, Eagles, etc. Going to be tough. But I think he has a chance.
Cant ever count out Brown,, but Im right there with ya Ninja, as deep and spoiled that we already were at WR we got some nice prospects in a very deep WR draft late and UDFA, so Im just greedy that way.

Yeah, I forgot about Noah Brown. He is one of those players who do all the right things and works hard. I don't see him making the team a s a WR this year. Maybe as a TE/WR tweener.

It matters what round you pick players in, because it's about getting the most bang for Ur buck. That's the issue with Wright. He could have been had lower. When 90 percent of the ratings service have him in 7 th round, you don't pick him in the third. This kind of drafting gets U beat on draft day by teams thAt get players closer to their ranking. It's simple math here.

One joy about having 3 killer receivers is that it’s going to make the young DB’s better. They’re going to be going up against these guys in practice every week. If you’re used to Amari Cooper every day then there’s not a receiver who’s really going to throw you off. Yeah I mean no one is guarding Metcalf/adams/Evans/etc. one on one but most of these guys won’t test you like Cooper with his release and route running
