is more agile than he's ever been. Was reported on Cowboys Break. May 26th. Also some video of him jumping up and down on one leg at a time. Looked like he was on springs. I was shocked.
What about "more agile than he's ever been"?I’m sure Dak will have his best year, but...
“best shape of my life!” Is the most overused, irrelevant off-season topic we keep hearing over and over and over. Every single year should be your best shape, as you’ve been working toward it a year longer than you did before
I guess you didn’t watch the Cowboys Break. We'll find out soon enough. I wouldn't expect him to say anything less. I've never heard a player say anything along the lines of "I'm in the worst shape I've ever been in. I really let myself go after that injury".
Dak doesn't seem like the type that would just lay around and let himself get out of shape though. I'm not worried about him physically. I'm just more concerned with the mental side of it (he's admitted this). It'll take him getting tackled a few times before he can mentally trust his ankle I would assume.
I didn't watch it yet, but watching him practice, and watching him take hits is still completely different. That's why I said it will take him getting hit a few times before he will mentally trust that ankle.I guess you didn’t watch the Cowboys Break.
That’s a given but not relevant to the thread.I didn't watch it yet, but watching him practice, and watching him take hits is still completely different. That's why I said it will take him getting hit a few times before he will mentally trust that ankle.
My bad, I thought the title of the thread was referring to the ankle injury and his recovery, because you mentioned how he was jumping up and down and looked as if he was on springs. That’s a given but not relevant to the thread.
Exactly which has nothing to do with him overcoming any mental issue about getting hit.My bad, I thought the title of the thread was referring to the ankle injury and his recovery, because you mentioned how he was jumping up and down and looked as if he was on springs.
Negative people will be negative. It’s a life style.Put it in perspective:
Of all the annoying and meaningless rituals associated with the NFL preseason, this one's my favorite: the annual parade of players proclaiming with 100 percent certainty, and for all the world to hear, that they are, without a doubt, in the Best Shape of their Lives. If you're also a connoisseur of football cliches, of exaggerated, unfounded and ultimately hollow declarations of elite fitness and impending greatness, it will come as no surprise that the biggest training camp BSer (Best Shape) of 2016 as none other than the Dallas Cowboys.....
And the list goes on.....and on......and on.....

Only a died in the wool troll would find fault with this phraseology.
