Going into Cowboys camp, these are my Expectations//Concerns about the 2021 Cowboys’ Offense:

Most looking forward to this Offense:
- Dak’s healthy return and continued rise to elite status
- one of NFL’s top most explosive WR units
- a healthy OL return
- Lamb and Jarwin bigger impact roles in offense
- a speedier 2016 version zeke
- Kellen’s pass design scheme (per WR, TE)
- High expectations as one of the top, most explosive offense in entire NFL
- Abundance of talent and potential among skill positions

Leading Concerns:
- OL Durability concerns and questionable depth
- Do not expose Dak to unnecessary designed run plays
- Backup QB ? .. Gilbert,? DiNucci ?
- Can we solve the notorious slow starts and red zone problems ?
- Lessen Turnovers
- Better RB design scheme; per run and pass
- Will Kellen be aggressive,.. or more conservative On the Road in games?
-- Under Kellen, we will not have a John Kuhn like FB.

My expectation is for this to be a top 7 offense. The skill guys are beastly. Good QB. They should score, a lot.

My concern is the OL. Last year they were a MASH unit. Both tackles coming back from serious injuries. It’s is potentially season killing problem. Good news is that they look good so far.

If the OL stays healthy this is a top 5 Offense.

The offense needs to get off to faster starts. Not wait until they are down by 3 scores to get going.

They also need to reduce turnovers. Less picks by Dak. Less fumbles by Zeke.

There is always OL heath that is concerning.

These would be the issues from stopping them from being a top 5 offense. They have the talent to do it

My concerns will be the same as last year: Kellen Moore and a balanced offense.

We need to be a balanced offense and not a pass happy offense to be successful. I know everyone wants Dak to put up pretty numbers, but if he's throwing the ball 40-50 times a game we're losing. We need a good combination of Zeke and Pollard. That's when Dak is at his best and that's when the team as a whole is at his best. A balance offense will also help to keep the defense off the field and sustain drives.

I's like to throw in less fumbles by Dak also. He had more fumbles than Zeke last year at the time of his injury. We also only lost 1 of Zekes fumbles through 4 1/2 games, but we lost 3 of Daks.

My only real concern on offense is whether or not Tyron is healthy.
If he is this is likely a top 3 offense in football.
Tyron is the only key guy who's injury history is scary enough to say he is 50/50 for a successful season.

In just Kellen's rookie year as OC in 2019, Cowboys threw for almost 5,000 yards, (4902) but yet also finished 5th in the NFL in rushing.
If it continues to go and stay on that path, i'm not the least worried about a lack of balance.

You should be worried about having more balance, because if you look into those passing numbers you'll see that the big majority of them came against bad teams or in losing efforts. We beat 1 playoff team in 2019 and that was the Eagles early in the season.

In 2019 we were 2-4 in games where Dak threw for at least 300 yards. 6-4 in games he threw for under 300 yards. We lost games 10-12, 17-9, and 9-13 where Dak threw ZERO TD passes in those games(All those games happened to be against playoff teams). Throughout Daks whole career it shows a clear pattern that the least he does the more successful the team is for it. I'd rather the Cowboys do what works instead of trying to put up cute numbers. I don't care if we win games ugly as long as we win them. I don't care if they're boring me to tears. Just win, baby.

Coincidentally we are 25-5 when Zeke has at least 100 rushing yards. Zeke and his yards lead to wins, while Dak and his has only lead to a big contract and "what ifs" so far.

Many point to Dak's crazy numbers prior to the injury, but they led the league to turnovers. Slow starts have killed this team for the last several years and their inability to finish drives. Need to become more balanced and stop always playing catchup.

Give it up dude. We know you hate Dak because everyone of your posts is about how you hate Dak. Don't you get tired of hating Dak? Obviously not.

That was the defenses fault. Get with the program, man.

Top 7 is very realistic IMO, probably top 5,, but I'd like to see us do better than we have the last couple of years against top defenses.

Moore needs to focus on running and not force the offense thru Dak.

Offensive line full season health durability, Slow starts, turnovers, 3rd down conversion rate, OCs ability to balance the offense with an effective running game.
