When asked He answered as a GM . . . He gave a comparison that he felt suited his skill set . . Him declaring himself as good is an exaggeration.

This man is humble

I understand he compared his game, his style of play like Richard Sherman. He has also claimed he was more athletic and agile than Sherman. Look I'm not knocking him I want players who have the balls and confidence to stand up and believe in themselves who are not afraid. I don't see as him as humble based on other things he has said and frankly I don't want humble I want guys who are fully committed and believe in their abilities to become great players. Fans can pump the breaks that is their right but a player must fully believe in themselves and not put barriers in front of themselves. When Emmitt got drafted he said his goals were to be the all time rushing leader, pretty brash statement from a rookie out of Florida but it is those feeling that the player uses to push themselves to the extreme to achieve it. I don't want wall flowers or humble I want ball players who will fight like hell.

According to this board, if the player does not play for Alabama they are bums. Every player is just a jag if they don't play in the SEC.

Or they're drafted in the first round or they're someone's pet cat in the later rounds or they're on someone else's top 5. Otherwise every other player just sucks and was a stupid pick and a jag. These few things are the prerequisite for a great draft around here. You don't need scouts and you don't even have to watch college football for that matter!

This is what sold me on Him. . . I believe He is Confident as well as Humble. . . And Personally I prefer Players who are confident and talented and dont Brag.

This is where the Sherman Comment came from.

This man is intelligent and articulate and a sounds like a student of the game . . so whatever He is flashing right now will be cultivated over the next 3 years.

You should click on the video and read the comment section . . . its a shame all the shade thrown his way

Good for you . . . this is the 1st thing I watched after he was drafted . . .

I believe my assessment of him based on this conference call is correct

You are allowed to believe anything you choose. I like the kid and I like his swagger.

"Overview
Lanky, angular cornerback with good length but bad speed. Wright possesses above-average instincts and shows some ability to squat, burst and smother shorter routes from off coverage, but he will need help over the top because his recovery speed is lacking. He doesn't have the instant acceleration or agility to stay connected to NFL route runners, which will limit his scheme fits. His length and play traits could make him a target for Cover 3 defenses who care less about long speed and more about ball skills."

Ran a 4.47 time in the 40 yard dash.

4.47 is not slow. That is pretty good for a corner at his size.

Diamond in the rough . . . its a shame all the hate that was heaped upon him when he was drafted
Yeah I was pretty upset with this pick on draft day and I'm hoping to eat crow during the season. The more I hear about him the more I get excited about him.
