Myself I'm not anointing anyone, but Wright has put this pressure on himself from day 1 making the comparison of himself and that of Richard Sherman and has not backed away from the challenge. Frankly I don't know what to expect from him
When asked He answered as a GM . . . He gave a comparison that he felt suited his skill set . . Him declaring himself as good is an exaggeration.

This man is humble

Article from February

Not everyone was sleeping on him
Apparently He has a brother coming through the pipeline as well
You can see more of his brother on the Last Chance U Netflix series, the season at Laney. I believe Nahshon got some decent face time as well but I think he was at OSU when they filmed.

Rezjohn (his younger brother) is the classic corner personality. Confident, loud, and in your face. And if you watch them play he’s the more talented brother. 6’3 with unique movement and ball skills. Wouldn’t surprise me if he balls at Oregon State this season and ends up going higher than Nahshon in the draft.

Nahshon is extremely thoughtful and calm, he had to play the father role once their dad died in their early teens. It gets emotional during the show as he was a huge influence in their lives and pushed them to play ball. Very mature and driven player. Happy to have him and wouldn’t be surprised if they looked at his brother next year.

Rejzhon was on last chance u. Kid is a baller. Was top cb prospect in the state of cali. Grades i think pushed them both to Juco. They both went to the same juco and both going to oregon st. Comes from a single mother home shes now makin decent $$. Nashon is the cooler head of the 2 rajzohn i think has more talent but more wild
Yup, but he has a classic confident CB1 attitude. I think it’ll serve him well on the field.

"Overview
Lanky, angular cornerback with good length but bad speed. Wright possesses above-average instincts and shows some ability to squat, burst and smother shorter routes from off coverage, but he will need help over the top because his recovery speed is lacking. He doesn't have the instant acceleration or agility to stay connected to NFL route runners, which will limit his scheme fits. His length and play traits could make him a target for Cover 3 defenses who care less about long speed and more about ball skills."

Ran a 4.47 time in the 40 yard dash.

Let's hope he is the real deal and locks down that CB position. Then we just have to worry about FS. And no, Donovan ain't no FS. Get'ur done.

Another thread has Joseph as a "breakout player" with Gregory and Lamb. Yuge to have the Wright pick come through too. Diggs-Joseph-Wright could be our starters for 2022-2023. Yuge to have CB set for years. It will help other positions by freeing up draft picks too.

Yes but jumping to hate based on perceptions is foolish do your homework and then past judgement. . . but in this day and age everyone runs off of emotions[/QUOTE]

so are you surprised that some posters on here are foolish? I certainly am not...

i think that many, myself included, didn't like the pick because of the lack of perceived value at the time based on the public data we all had available. That part, i have no issue with....however the people that were personally attacking Wright are just moronic...fair to criticize the pick bc of the position in the draft relative to what the analysts expected but no reason to hate on the player.
