Might as well trade Lamb while you're at it. He had a drop that cost us more than our lack of run game. We weren't getting squat from our run game tonight, and we honestly didn't need it. A kicker, better officiating, smarter coaching and we win.

Sorry but thats silly. We had a solid gameplan and Zeke wasn't a big part of it. You don't go up against one of the best run defenses in the league and middling pass defenses planning to feature your running game.

While I've said that Zeke is vastly overpaid, he did exactly as he was called to do today. He blocked phenomenally. Our OC in training didn't want to challenge TB's run defense, and maybe rightfully so given how they manhandled our O-line. That's not on Zeke (this time.) That was just the game plan.

OMG, are people on here really agreeing w RGIII??!! The gameplan for tonight clearly didn't include running the ball. It was a great gamelan! Running against that TB D-line was pointless, especially without Martin. Zeke's season running the ball starts in L.A. He'll be fine.

No, but against a great run defense that kept lining up to stop the run, you need to be more creative with your offense than just trying to run into that front. Zeke's presence in the backfield was a major part of our success in the passing game. You keep those linebackers near the line of scrimmage and the receivers can hit those open spots.

I really believe they probably told Zeke he wasn't gonna be involved much in the run game today. That Tampa team can be beat outside and that's about it. We can beat teams outside and inside and this was the type of game that we played to our advantage. That's what makes this offense so good.

That is not what the tweet was about. The tweet was ridiculing the Cowboys for abandoning the running game not being down no more than 7 points all game. 4 carries in the 1st half and 7 in the second half with only 2 pass targets. Fournette had 9 carries and 7 pass targets.

Throwing the ball 58 times will lose you football games. Romo vs. Manning with the same outcome with Manning calling running plays to win.

Zeke's problem is play calling.

only thing I will say is the few runs should of been more towards the outside. We literally ran like 14 times and most went straight to Vita /Suh

Brady threw it 50x and they won...just sayin'. It is know we have no run D yet they chose not to run down our throats. We knew you can't run against Tampa and they are vulnerable on the outside..soooooo we threw to the outside. Not a bad game plan, right?

Completely dumb like the idiot who tweeted that. They stacked the box almost the entire game and their LBs hit those gaps fast. I'm glad we adjusted our offense vs forcing it to Zeke. One game and already with this nonsense.

That’s an expensive “ blocking back “ . I’m sure in future games our QB is not throwing 50 passes that won’t hold up. Have to have at least the threat of a run .
