Steele is improved. Deserves props. But home boy isn’t on Diggs’ level of improvement. Nah.

Diggs was a borderline 1st round talent who had a great rookie season. A really good 1st round level starter transitioning to an all-pro level player isn't as big of an improvement as an undrafted tackle who didn't even look like belonged in the NFL (he literally got outplayed by majority of backups last year) transitioning to a good starting tackle in just 1 off-season

I love Diggs but no, Steele not only has a greater level of improvement but it's at a more signficant position too.

There's not much to disagree with. Diggs had an amazing rookie season and was borderline 1st round talent. Him becoming an all-pro level player is great but not going to be larger than someone who doesn't even look like he belongs on the practice squad becoming a great starter at arguably the #2 most important position in the league

Diggs was high level talent and had a great rookie season, he was already viewed pretty highly (most had him as the #2 best player on our defense coming into this season)

Basically, you're saying the leap to playing at a high level wasn't as much for Diggs ( 2nd rounder pick ) vs Steel ( free agent )

Exactly. Diggs was fringe 1st round talent (even talk of the cowboys taking him in the 1st round if Lamb was off the board) and was the #2 best defensive player on our roster coming into this year.

The #2 best defensive player becoming the #1 best defensive player is hardly as good of an improvement as a guy who most thought wouldn't even make the roster becoming a good starter at one of the top 3 premier positions

Diggs was pretty good last year
But right now he’s owning everyone
He gets a pick in the next game we may have to start a count down clock for the all time record
People will soon be calling Stehon his brother instead of the other way around lol

To be fair "uhhh isn't on my homeboys level" and "you tell them risen" isn't really much of a logical opinion let's be real

The number 2 defensive player coming into this season moving to #1 isn't the same degree of improvement as a fringe practice squad player becoming a solid starter at one of the premier positions.

I read a tweet that clued himself to Zack Martin during the off-season. Guess it's paying off big-time......

Throwing this in (lol)

Great post. Collins being out was an afterthought. Steele has played really well.

He’s gone from a 3/10 below average backup to a 7/10 good starting player. Definitely a huge improver.

yeah man you are right. All Diggs did was go from #2 to #1. You nailed this one man. You just keep making great point after great point.

Steele so far is now making me eat crow. I am not sorry to admit it, in fact, i will be happy to have it served grilled with fixings and all. If he keeps this up, i would be surprised if they stick Collins right back in after his stint on the suspension list. I would keep Steele in there and use Collins as my backup tackle. When you get a line meshing well, you don't want to disturb it.
