Basically it was the last year of the deal and they have no cap space currently. They need a little cap space to extend Jamie Collins but the only way they could get it was either Gilmore signing long term or being cut.

Trade is possible, I think they said they have till 4pm today to trade if any takers

1. Wouldn't rework his Contract
2. CAP Savings (over 5Mil)
3. Injury
4. They want to sign LBer Jamie Collins need cap space
