Good post....I came into the thread to post similar: Osa isn't a big guy and the fact we are playing 17 games is means hitting that wall is a real concern. I look forward to Gallimore coming back in a few weeks and joining the rotation. Hill? Not gonna count on much from him
:muttley: why y'all not giving Hill no love?

Odiggy has caught up.

Micah not getting enough pass rush snaps.

Odighizuwa is a little light with average height… but the guy has crazy long arms, an innate understanding of leverage from his time as an all-American wrestler, and is just 100% country strong.

Throw in his freakish quickness with his hands (again, probably from wrestling) and a motor that constantly runs hot, and you have a really, really good prospect.

I was excited when Dallas picked him and I had high hopes for him… but I never thought he’d come out and play like this as a rookie. The guy is one of the best in the league.

The best part is that he is going to get a lot better. He’s going to be a beast in the last half of the season and the playoffs.

And yes, Golston is playing really good as well.

Osa reminds me of Ratliff and Glover. I love OL and DL who have a strong background in wrestling.

If I had to guess we are keeping Gregory or Lawrence. I don't really see a path for us to retain both.

It's a shame. My first football memories included a D-line of "Too-tall", Harvey Martin, and Randy White. How loaded was that group? It seems like the played together for almost a decade. In our day, they would have to choose one to pay, let the other two go to crappy teams and surround the one stud we kept with young guys and cheap veterans. It's a shame.

Gotta admit..
Didn't see this potential in him leading up to the draft. But that is the beauty in people...sometimes people overachieve...and do great things. He's only been in the league a few months..
And already looks like a completely different player. Good for him...Good for us.

Yessir..Osa is ballin out of control. Gallimore is gonna have to be a rotation player, Hill too.

Osa is in very good company, and he just has to keep going. Gallimore n Hill will need to step up and give this guy a rest especially if #97 hit a rookie wall.

Hill is a great rotational player already, going from spot duty to the bench to IR and eventually will be rotated right out of Dallas. All these other DT are passing him by.

Gholston is another pick they hit on . He seems to be in on a lot of plays

I really like him

Since it looks like Israel Mukuamu is only playing special teams this year, I want to put my pet cat in boarding and adopt Chauncey as my new pet cat, especially after seeing this video. I just love a person who smiles and has a positive attitude around people. Him, Tyron, Zeke, Randy, and of course Dak, those are our players who seem to truly love to talk to the fans through the media.

helluva player.
he's a good'n.
and will be for a long, long time.
i didnt watch ucla so i knew nothing about him.
my trusty lindy's draft guide did, however.
and that was enough for me.
his long arms and wrestling background are major pluses.

What was enough for you was "the Dallas Cowboys select....."

I tried to tell ya'll this pre-draft. I mocked him so many times to us hoping we'd land him. Dude is as tough as they come. Trust me, you don't want to mess with wrestlers. They are stronger and work way harder than anyone would ever imagine. To be a good wrestler with that kind of size, you also have to be super athletic, understand leverage and be quick on your feet. All of those things transfer very well into a DT.

Great pick. And is getting better. Get well soon Gilimore.
I can't wait to try to get this line up on the field at the same time: Dlaw - Gallimore - Odighizuwa - Randy

The potential for being able to get pressure from both ends AND from inside... scary stuff

He reminds me of Grady Garrett. A bit undersized as a DT but good quickness. I think Dan Quinn had something to do with his development.

Interesting story about Grady Garrett. He was selected in the 5th round by Atlanta from a trade with Minnesota's 5th round pick. With Minnesota's 5th round pick they used it to select Stephon Diggs, wide reciever.

Osa is a stud.

Maybe even elite.

Odighizuwa Is giving us something we haven’t had in a long time - pressure up the middle.

If DLaw comes back strong our front 4 could be very tough on QBs.

Love this, but dang, Parsons is a part time rusher and has that many pressures? Wow!
