Definitely smoke now with McClain getting on board.

Watch Miami give up boatload of picks then he gets suspended.

Miami for this year only has 2.4mil in cap space... Watson's base is 10mil prior to any reduction to 6 games played...

Instant trade and restructure?

He certainly exhibits questionable judgement.. For a multi-millionaire to have placed himself in that position as many times as he did boggles the mind.

I can't have a guy that obviously stupid around my team, hell...in my county. Watson needs to go get lost he has enough $$$$ to just fade away.

Any man playing what he did is scum.

After watching that Jags/Dolphins game, yeah it is difficult for me to see how Tua will become a good or serviceable QB in the NFL as a starter. I guess I was wrong about him too amongst many QBs that I was wrong on.

So the basics are out.
1. Watson prefers MIA as we have heard for a long time. Makes sense for a guy from GA that played in SC to want to be in the Southeast.
2. Old rich dudes in Florida def getting rub downs.
3. HOU has no interest in Tua.
4. WFT needs a QB but has limited resources.

This is all good news if you are a Cowboys fan. Keep him away from local women as well as out of our division.

Watson would be out the rest of the season and Miami would lose their current starting QB, thus all but assuring Philly ends up with a top 5 pick

I got ragged on badly for comparing him to Kellen Moore as a QB. Kellen might've been better.

I just can't imagine any team wanting that PR nightmare and the inevitable loss of availability. I guess if you're willing to sit on it for a while, it might pay off....provided he doesn't go all pervert on another 20 or so women.

Why would they trade him to Miami? He has a no trade clause. So my guess is the only team on his list that wants anything to do with him is Miami. Because they don't have a first round pick. Unless Washington is giving them a first for Tua. Which is ridiculous if true.

He's another Bama QB that will fail. Hurts is also trash. They look great in that system and then flop at the next level

Yep, just like all the Texas Tech QBs before Mahomes.

I don’t pay a whole lot of attention to college football, but Tua made his name replacing Hurts in the championship game and leading ‘bama to the win. The thing is, the roles were reversed the next year.

Yep. Go look at the best QBs in this league. Moat did not come from super successful programs. The only one I could think of was Watson coming from Clemson. And we will see what happens with Trevor Lawrence.

Alabama is a football factory. The same can be said about Ohio St. Those QBs look great inside the confines of that system and it helps that those teams are so much more talented than their opponents. They line up and just out talent and out speed the other team. They play behind mammoth OL's that allow them to just find the wide open WRs on most plays. None of that happens at the pro level. Every team has talent and speed. There are not wide open WRs all the time. You don't have much time to make your reads and go through progressions.

Yep, but the biological drive is stronger than the intellectual. My neighbor has peppered my dog with a bb gun to send him back home multiple times, but ole Duke ain’t thinking about that when he’s heading over to see their female dog.

And almost all go to inferior teams, not perennial power house/winners and are faced with starting way before they’re ready. They’ve never had to go beyond their first read. It’s why NFL teams are going more college-like. To give these guys time to hopefully develop into an NFL QB.
