I just can't imagine any team wanting that PR nightmare and the inevitable loss of availability. I guess if you're willing to sit on it for a while, it might pay off....provided he doesn't go all pervert on another 20 or so women.
That's how strong the need for the QB position is. That's why Vick was let back in, and why Cam Newton got signed last year. Osweiler traded for a 2nd as well as Cassell and that's why Bridgewater is still starting. And Fitzmagic. So hard to find competency at that position.

And almost all go to inferior teams, not perennial power house/winners and are faced with starting way before they’re ready. They’ve never had to go beyond their first read. It’s why NFL teams are going more college-like. To give these guys time to hopefully develop into an NFL QB.

Yep. Justin Fields is learning the hard way. He always went to his first read at Ohio St and if it wasn't there, he took off and ran many times. But in those systems, the first read was usually open. Due to how much more talented they were.

I can't have a guy that obviously stupid around my team, hell...in my county. Watson needs to go get lost he has enough $$$$ to just fade away.

Any man playing what he did is scum.
What did he do?

I wouldn't want Watson anywhere around me, guy is a idiot.
Think like Miami though. Their QB situation since Marino has been almost as bad as Buffalo's since Kelly. Thats why I can see them gambling on Watson

Watson would be out the rest of the season and Miami would lose their current starting QB, thus all but assuring Philly ends up with a top 5 pick
Tua is awful, so subtracting him may be an improvement in and off itself. However you probably right. We are all winners here, Tua would be coming into the division! How funny would it be if Washington gives up a 1st

I got ragged on badly for comparing him to Kellen Moore as a QB. Kellen might've been better.
4 top 15 picks at WR at one time. 2 of them top 10's. Metchie too who will be a first.

Goes a long way as far as propping a guy up

If Watson has female problems Miami is the last place he should be.

After watching that Jags/Dolphins game, yeah it is difficult for me to see how Tua will become a good or serviceable QB in the NFL as a starter. I guess I was wrong about him too amongst many QBs that I was wrong on.

Didn't Tua have over 300 passing yards and a couple of TDs in that game? That kid has yet to play a full season of starts and you're already writing him off? The main thing he needs to have happen is he needs his mind to catch up to NFL game speed. He also needs to see the field better. But I think he can get there... I would not be so quick to declare such an inexperienced player to be a failure.

Watson is an NFL QB, he can't be hauling that kind of baggage around, it is simply wrong.

Here common sense needs to prevail, the hell with football this guy has to go.

If ...one...girl had some problems, hmmm/ But what....50????

Miami has no draft picks to give up. Their idiot GM traded their 2022 1st rd pick to the Eagles to draft Waddle.

Tua is absolutely worthless. Howard and Byron Jones are $16M players no one wants to pay that much.

What could the Dolphins even offer for a trade? Few players on the Dolphins even have trade value.

I agree with you. It is a bit early. But NFL teams don't like to wait long. Consider this. If Ryan Fitzpatrick can come in and look that much better, you know you have a steep hill to climb. I know it was early and he was a rookie. But it's worth mentioning. What route do you choose? Hope Tua improves? Or just go with a proven player?

That's the thing. They might be limited in who they can trade him to due to the no trade clause. The target would probably be Philly, but he doesn't want to go there. Maybe Miami is giving the 3 first rounders and one of them is from Washington. Yeah, I know. Don't overestimate Washington.

If I’m a GM or owner no I don’t want all this legal baggage in town. Obviously the Dolphins are going nowhere this year finish up with Tua then bring on completion in 2022

Jay Glazer for what’s it’s worth on Fox pregame states the Texans demands are 3 count them three first round picks plus two other high picks . That’s insane . So you get Watson with a fat price tag your draft is going to be third rounders and below for years , no thanks I’ll pass .
