What part of “market value” for a franchise QB can you not comprehend? Really has very little to do with if that guy wins a Super Bowl are not. Obviously teams hope for the best possible outcome but they’re not paying these guys on the basis that they win a championship. You can really spot the difference between 9 to Fivers on this board, and those who probably have a little experience as independent contractors/business owners, etc. Not that there’s anything wrong with that.

The problem with never paying a QB is it means every 5 years you have to get another one and the odds of being in a position to get the top 2-3 prospects are slim so you have to trade up and lose a lot of picks
And even the top 2-3 prospects each year rarely win a SB ever, let alone in first 5 years
