I think people just expect that 2016 offensive line again where Dak and survey the field. Dak is hardly under immediate pressure. He holds on to the ball long enough for pressure to arrive. He does throw under duress much of the time. But a lot of it is from him moving a bit to buy extra time. It's probably because I am a Cowboys fan that I am on edge during the pass rush.

No offense, but this is the stuff that bothers me about this site. Do you see the numbers? Dak is sacked , tied for 4th fewest per game in the entire league at 1.5. Please dont tell me its because Dak is so mobile. Against the best D line in football, Dak threw the ball what, 58 times? He was sacked ONCE. So yea, our pass blocking is not OK, it is damn good.
Maybe it is also because he is going thru his progressions quickly and getting the ball out quicker. Yeah but our pass blocking is really good right now. Hope they can keep it up.

'They’ve got so many weapons and such a great offensive line and everything else, he doesn’t have to scramble. They’ll get around that just fine.' - Aikman on Prescott's calf injury.

“The great thing about playing quarterback relative to other positions is unless you just can’t throw the ball - if something is wrong with your shoulder or elbow or something of that nature - then you can manage the injuries a little bit better,” Aikman said. “My guess is the calf is not going to be 100-percent (yet), but if he goes into the game and knows he can’t run, then he won’t run. He’ll just get rid of the football. So you’re able to manage it.

Great , so Dak will be ok. He just won’t be able to run.

He's been pressured, but so has every other QB in the league. I'm sure most QBs would be happy to have the protection our OL gives Dak. That's not to say Dak hasn't done some great scrambling, but usually just to buy more time than you should expect any OL to provide.

No doubt. I didn't say he's been running around all game because of the pressure. I said we run block a lot better because we do. There's a reason half this site, maybe more, want Connor Williams gone and Tyler Biadasz benched. Most of the pressure comes up the middle, which QBs hate. Zeke has done a fantastic job of keeping the pressure off Dak. Dak would have been sacked at least a half dozen more times if it wasn't for Zeke. On Dak and CeeDee's first TD against the Giants, Pollard even stepped up and gave Dak the extra second to throw it to CeeDee.
