No. He’s started 7 games this year. He started 2 games last year. Literally not the same at all.

He's injured and unavailable, unreliable and it is the same conversation

I'm frankly sick of it...every year he's injured or not playing at full strength and unreliable - time to replace him...he's hasn't played a full 16 season since 2015

This doesn't take away how great he's been for us but he's become an unreliable often injured player that puts the team in a disadvantageous position.

Im telling everyone now there needs to be a huge focus on drafting for both sides of the line more so defense but you can't ignore the LT position anymore. Gave him a shot this year on the neck surgery and he's all better but bottom line is this guy is never gonna be healthy and available. Maybe Ball can become something but it would stop me on using a first or second round pick.

The next two games are against AFC opponents. After that is all NFC for the remainder of the season. So we definitely need this guy for those last six games. That's the home stretch. Going, at least, 5-1 in the last six games is crucial.

Imagine watching the 2016 season and the Packers playoff game and still not getting it.

We share a team with these people.

14 of the last 25 SB champs had both a first round bye and benched their starters in at least the last regular season game.

Try again

Of course he isn’t playing this is what Tyron does on annual basis if the cowboys don’t prioritize LT and LB I’ll be unhappy. Chris Jones must be licking his chops as to where to line up. He’s got options

Should have had the damn surgery and be done with it...now it's gonna drag on til the off season...stupid.
Medical team is droping the ball on this one.

Pollard crashed into his ankle before the bye week and the narrative was "no major issues, should play against vikings". Tries to play against the vikings and can't because there is major issues. Narrtive then becomes "ankle is fine it's just a pain issue with bone spurs"

Now here we are 3 games later with him returning to practice and the pain going down and the narrative is "uhh well where still not sure about his ankle yet".

What does this mean, "big picture move"? If he is healthy he should play.
It means he’s not 100%. He would play if it was a must win or playoffs.

He could worsen the injury and miss more time. They have three games in 12 days and would rather save him for the end of season / playoffs as opposed to a non conference game that means little outside of the media perception

When the 2016 Cowboys shut it down with a game and a half to play in the regular season before heading into their playoff bye it was a "big picture" move too.

And that "smart" (pathetic) and "safe" (weak) decision eliminated them in the postseason.

The Football Gods don't reward cowards. Football's a man's game. As soon as you stop acting like men you're doomed.
Or Tyron’s really just not ready to play.

Football gods didn’t punish us when we sat Dak vs the Vikings.

Cue your “that’s because Cooper Rush is better than Dak.”

I don’t have your timing.

I heard it's not the bone spurs keeping him out It's a high ankle sprain
They keep changing the story which is why it's confusing

First it was "mild ankle injury" during the bye. Then when he gets pulled during the vikings game they save face and say "oh it's a pain issue, bone spurs, ankles technically fine but bad pain".

Now the pain is going away and he's practicing (can't use bone spur excuse) but they don't want to reveal that yeah it really is an ankle injury that's still healing so they go "uhh load management decision"
