There isn’t any bright side to what’s going on with the Cowboys right now. We weren’t expected to beat the Chiefs prior to the season because everyone thought we weren’t going to be very good and they were going to be the same team they’ve been and they haven’t. There were a lot of experts that thought we were going to win yesterday. Instead of looking like a contending team our offense was embarrassing like it was two weeks ago against Denver. We’re starting to see cracks at a time when the cream of the crop is starting to rise. Teams in our division are improving and we’re not. We still have three games with Washington and Philly. No one is afraid of us because we’ve been getting punched in the mouth lately. Our offense that was number one in the league heading into yesterdays game has become inconsistent and is being shutdown. Our 0L is being dominated. If anyone is seeing a bright spot it must be the glare from the cracks that are forming.

The injuries are a real problem.

That's my concern.

Anyone who thought we wouldn't lose again after the opener was kidding themselves.

Every time the Cowboys are struggling and the wheels appear to be coming off fans look for a bright side or silver lining. We keep losing players and guys aren’t stepping up. The Cardinals are winning despite the loss of Kyler Murray and DeAndre Hopkins. A mediocre team like Denver dominated us despite having three starters out on their OL and no Von Miller. They even lost their starting corner Patrick Surtain during our game. Even a mediocre team like Denver found a way to embarrass us. Some of you can keep looking for a bright side but there isn’t any. The only way things are going to start brightening up for us is if we start stringing together wins again.

Enjoy your misery

What misery, more $$$$ than I can use, over 20,000 CD/records/tapes, more books than a library, a wife where I have to.....sorry babe got a headache. And....a division winning football team...so misery???????

Titans lose to the lowly Texans, such is the NFL.

You can be miserable if you want. When we have all our starters playing, I believe we’re one of the top 6 or 7 teams in the league. If we win, I’ll be happy for a short time. If we lose, I’ll be in a bad mood for a short time. Then I’ll move on with life, looking forward to the 2022 season.

No there's isn't, none at all.....zero!

It’s hopeless, huh? No chance for improvement, huh? Getting back all those players won’t mean anything, right? Are you depressed? Rocking back and forth in a chair, surrounded by piles of Kleenex? Playing lots of Radiohead in darkened rooms? Sleepless nights? When’s the wake? As long as Dallas doesn’t steamroll someone in the SB, you’ll be posting snark here, feeling “validated”, huh?

The silver lining folks here are fans looking for anything positive to help them feel better about the current negative state of the team. It’s not about life it’s about the team.

Dont get me wrong, Im a big Dallas Cowboys fan as any of you from the beginning...but I have never seen an offense this good get shut down so easily....TWICE! in a season...This I cant explain it...I know they missing their two best receivers but come on....The offensive line......whats to say...they sucked....they forgot how to block for a game....I hope...for only one game....

I wouldn’t be following the team if they made me miserable. lol It’s a game! I’m not one of those who starts threads crying about the team, bashing players and coaches. All I do is contribute and voice my opinion to some of the lunacy that’s posted. My expectations for the team are pretty low every year because it’s been so long since they’ve won anything. I experienced all 5 of their championships, one of them in person so I consider myself a lucky fan. I enjoy the season whether the Cowboys win or lose because I’m an NFL fan. Seasons are always more fun when the Cowboys are in contention but I’ve never allowed their performances to have any effect on my daily life. I’ll enjoy Thanksgiving whether they win or lose on Thursday.

That’s cool! So why the consistent gloom?

Thanks for explaining it to me. I’m chuckling.
