Could the Cowboys been looking ahead to the Raider's game?

I'm thinking that could have been the case, along with missing key players. I am hoping they aren't as bad as they looked this Sunday. If this is the issue then they are lacking a killer instinct and get too comfy when things are going good AND that's not a good thing.

Maybe they just got beat? Every team in the NFL has at least 2 losses. Why is it so shocking to this fan base when the Cowboys lose one?

Buffalo lost to the Jags, the Titans lost to the Jets and Texans, the Bucs lost to Washington, Carolina whupped Arizona, the list goes on because that's the NFL.

Even good teams have bad days, and when they do they sometimes lose. It's not some mysterious reason.

No. Cowboys plain and simple got out played by KC, No excuse for it. Having said that the NFL waits for no one, Cowboys have a game coming up and need to get themselves ready for it.

No dude. Stop looking for reasons they lost, they just got beat. We have a game in two days, please move on. I am glad this is a short week, no need to linger on this loss anymore. Our team had moved on, as they should and so should we.n

No. They knew they were in a big game and their opponent was a high caliber team. No way you overlook that opponent on the road. They just came up small in a big moment. They got beat. That's all.

I think the coaches and the front office were definitely looking ahead and thinking long term. Why else would they not play Tyron when he said could have played and wanted to play? It's obvious that they probably felt if Tyron played against KC then he would not be ready to play 4 days later against the Raiders. So they let him rest an additional 4 days and have him for the Raiders and hopefully the rest of the season. Play him and lose against KC and not have him available for the Raiders would have put the Raiders game in more jeopardy. I think that was the strategy. Try to win against KC with what you have and go full board against the Raiders to at least split the matchups. Not saying I agree with it but it is just my opinion on how they may have been thinking.

I absolutely believe this theory. Why wouldn't you? With so many starters out what were your chances anyway? 4 extra days of rest with so many games left, makes sense to me. AND I thought we put up a good fight with what we had. 19 points to KC??

Huh? I sincerely doubt they were looking forward to the Raiders. The reasons for the stinker last Sunday have been laid out ad nauseam. I do expect them to win on Thursday though. Carr has been putrid the last 3 games.

No. They have all but said they don’t care about KC or LV and are focused on the NFC games after that.

They could not make the plays. Missed opening pass to wide open Gallup and 2 TDs dropped by Wilson and Brown. The ball was thrown right in there hands. You have to make these plays. We were lucky our Defense was able to keep us in the game.. With the points we usually put up it should have been a win..

For real. Some of these fans act like the team needs to go 17-0 just to appease them.

no. I doubt it. that was a statement game.....and I think yet again they came out thinking we can just score on this defense and weren't ready.

the book on cowboys offense is that we are a finesse offense and when defenses play us aggressive and punch us a few times, we tend to fold and get off our game. ...we have to be tougher than this. Denver played us the same, now KC did the same and both times we just rolled over and looked Dazed like we have no idea how to deal with it. frustration was evident. they had the look like why isn't this working. and we had no answer.

We can add about 4 obvious no calls as well. Undoubtedly, Dallas would have scored on at least one with the field position.

I'm all for the explanation that it was just a loss that can happen to any team in the NFL. What worries me is the play by the offense , not being able to scoredl any TD's and the play calling.

Agreed. I gave up on complaining about the calls and no calls. It’s become regular now. Lol. Brown dropped a TD and Wilson dropped one as well. Let’s just hope we get it together and make this run. Lock up the division and look to get healthy.
