Agree 100%.......guy on Twitter was saying a lot of times when coordinators are canned mid-season, the HC and/or GM are feeling the heat. It's exactly what I think is happening.......this buys Judge and Getterman (ms) another year for serious improvement or they're cleaning house.

Giants ownership is helping Jason.

Raiders and Chicago jobs will be open.

NY likely to fire GM.

I don’t get the hate for Jason. He was homegrown, he was all in and he was a Cowboy. Did he win as much as we wanted, no but his teams always played hard for the guy. I’m thinking Jason will be quite fine at the end of the day.

Vegas makes sense actually. They have Rich Bissachia who used to coach under him and Carr is a kind of QB that might work for Garrett well.

winning big games matters. He hasn't proved it as a HC. Fair or unfair. No one likes a loser. That might explain the hate.

the mara and jones families hope no other team takes advantage of his greatness.

he might want to see if Witten will hire him for his high school offensive coordinator.

Dang it... we still have to play them. Any/All of us drunk, sitting in a living room, would have been capable of calling the defense against Garrett.

it also gives another OC the chance to try and do better with the same team JG was working with.
See how the next guy does, if better that says it all, but if it is the same......

Well in Garrett's defense he didn't have all pro players across the OL. How do expect him to score 30 a game, with scheme?

Your clapper boi isn’t getting another coaching gig. And “Ny likely firing the GM” has no correlation to somehow protecting Garret by firing him before the end of the season. It’s not like the repercussions for Garret would have been any worse or lessened had they waited. A firing is a firing. You’re living in la la land and attempting to concoct a fantasy narrative to to feel good about Garret I guess. If you think he’s so great, you should go cheer for him from his front lawn on Sunday’s, because you won’t find him on another NFL sideline.

He was still 85-67 as a HC, a lot of coaches wouldn't mind that winning percentage

Judge did this to save his own sorry a**. Doesn’t matter he came from the Belichick tree, dude would be better off as a high school coach.

Now Garrett knows what it’s like to be the jilted “scapegoat”.

i dont get how the Giants hired him

you saw him in Dallas for years and knew he needed all pros across the board for his offense to be average

Because the NFL is the good ole boys league and they are a lot of friends and family.

They aren’t big into letting other coaches come into their league. They love to recycle and keep the gig going.

Heck thats why McCarthy is here. Classic good ole boy hire.
