Possibly the most impactful D player I've ever seen minus maybe Donald

I choose to focus on the positive.

My goodness we struck it rich with this kid. He’s the defensive player of the year as a rookie in my book.

the honest truth is that Parsons is the closest thing to LT since LT.

Saints last Touchdown. He put no effort into running the receiver down from behind. Oh that’s right we’re not talking about Prescott LMAO
I agree, he didn't even whiff on that one, because he didn't really try. I'm sure he could've made the tackle. Then again, at that point he might've been gassed. He was running around a hell of a lot by that point in the game.

Lucking into an elite pass-rusher in a draft class that was supposedly devoid of top-shelf pass-rush talent, when we thought we were settling for a generic 4-3 linebacker (by which I mean a guy who people seemed to agree would be really good against the run but was probably gonna struggle and be exploited on passing downs)?

It's an insane stroke of good luck. It probably rivals the crazy strokes of good luck we had when we accidentally stumbled onto Romo or Dak. Sometimes it's better to be lucky than good.

It's a little like how in the 2000 NFL Draft, which was supposed to be one of the all-time emptiest QB classes in the modern era, and the Patriots reached into their butts and somehow pulled out a Tom Brady. In a draft class that was supposedly devoid of good QBs.

That's why his agent is going to advise him to hold out next season. it will only be his second season but Zeke showed that Jerry is willing to pay despite not finishing the current contract.

I mean, if you were his agent, wouldn't you?

I'm guessing you're not old enough to have seen LT play.

Seen LT in his NCAA days, he has nothing on this kid. And would get smoked in a 40, he was a 4.6 cat.

LT had 9 sacks his rookie season
Parsons has 9 right now

Tom Brady, Jerry Rice, don’t get me started Emmitt Smith. What are your people never watch football
Nobody on that list is outrunning him in their prime and he's a rookie...the only QB that would stand in the pocket and get the ball out consistently when he is blitzing is Marino. Back in the day Jevon Kearse was considered a freak of nature and he ran the forty at least 2 tenths slower than Parsons. Parsons has another gear beyond the straightline 4.3 speed, seeing the way he hustles and closes distance on fast players is probably the closest thing to having been alive to see Jim Thorpe play from everything I have heard about Thorpe. Tom Brady is not even top 5 at his position, neither is your beloved Emmitt Smith. Barry Sanders, Marcus Dupree, Gale Sayers, Adrian Peterson and OJ Simpson would have all rushed for 20k yards with that offensive line the Cowboys had. Notice how once #22 left Dallas he was soon introduced to retirement thanks to Roy Williams. I think Parsons would hit him about as hard as Roy did.

I guess people never watched real football. I mean he’s good but the best ever that’s laughable.

Been watching football since 1957, seen them all, a 4.39 for a LB is incredible.

The great LT was a 4.6 guy.

He makes everyone else look like they are on slow mo while he’s on regular speed. Unbelievable.

We need more of those guys. Where are they growing more of those guys? I heard the Cowboys hired Sean Lee as a college scout to find us more of those guys. Has anyone else heard about this?

Parsons has to play 3 years before he is eligible for a new contract per NFL rules I think.

But that contract will be massive.
